Thanks for playing! Great video.

Hey thanks!

thanks mate! 6 meats is an accomplishment - you should feel proud of your meat harvesting / wolf slaying abilities

No, like I didn't find the game "readable." I didn't know what "normal" was so I couldn't tell when something special was happening. Everything felt overwhelming and chaotic all the time, so if I experienced chaos events, they didn't register as "extra chaotic."

Holy moly! This is so good! Super clean design that builds up nicely over the game. Great progression, I love the upgrade system. Fits the theme like a glove. Really great!

Well done! It is a little bit hard to tell what is going on, but it is fun nevertheless. I'm not sure if I ever triggered a chaos event, though I did often die seemingly out of the blue, so... maybe I did?

Nice! Well done. I definitely felt the pressure of managing multiple tasks all at once.

Love it! Great art style, felt very chaotic by the end. Very well done.

It kind of bothered me that there are times where you cannot get all the yellow circles (when a platform drops out from under one, for example) and also that you cannot jump when standing on a falling platform.

Definitely chaotic! Nice polish, nice fitting the theme. Good approach to visuals for a jam.

I don't really know what I'm supposed to do, but I somehow won anyway.

Sorry to hear that! I love the title screen music. I wish I got to see your hard work. :)

Beautiful art! I love the Celeste look. I could not figure out the controls, though...

Great! Simple, juicy, polished! Very very well done!

The pixelation + particles make the hexagons not really look like hexagons, which is confusing at first.

Fun, solid, classic.

Fun concept! I wish the game started you off looking in the correct direction and did a better job of guiding you to where you need to go.

Interesting concept. I'd like to see it fleshed out into something more robust. But in this prototype, the execution was not there. It felt more like a puzzle of "find the two headlines that can fit together" rather than letting me express any real creativity.

Also, the controls were rough. The buttons were hard to click and drag/drop was inconsistent (which made me unsure if I wasn't allowed to combine certain headlines).

Awesome! Very fun concept. Best game from the jam I've played so far.

I wish there was a bit more visual feedback when the controls changed. I also wonder if it would have worked better if the controls changed every X  moves, rather than every X seconds. Or maybe if you had a countdown flashing on screen telling you exactly when the controls are going to change. As is, it felt a bit "unfair" when controls changed just as I was pressing a button to move.

Also, a bit of a gentler start would have been nice. Changing controls and dodging traps is challenging enough without the bottom of the screen coming up to swallow you, at least until you've had a chance to practice some first.

Nice! At first, I wished I could control movement separate from aiming. But once I unlocked the small fish where you get pushed backward rather than charging toward the enemy you're trying to shoot I found it a lot more fun. Well done!

Great feedback. Thanks for playing!

Now, that's good hunting!

Thanks for giving Need 4 Meat a try and apologies for any issues you're experiencing. The truth is that there is no downloadable build for N4M--it is meant to be played in browser. This is also the first we're hearing of any major performance issues. Have you tried checking the strength of your network connection? Additionally, have you tried playing the game on the itch.io app? From what we understand, the app allows you to install browser games. Might clear up any issues you are having.

The resolution in Unity is set at 960 x 540 (16:9 aspect ratio). We also use this WebGL export template, with the "scale to fit" option set to true. Hope this helps!

Now that's a proper meat-fest!

QUADRUPLE MEEEEEEEAT!

Time well spent, you ask us!

Tasty!

Thanks for playing!

Double whammy!

MMMMMMM....meaty!

Thanks for playing and for the great feedback!
