Finally done with the update, and honestly...
Dear Ncrow, once again you've outdone yourself.
And i want to say that, while the sex scenes are immaculate as usual, that's not only it. The storytelling is genuinely great, and there's a certain incredible sweetness in the relationships between characters that is amazingly unique and makes my heart melt every single time. I wish more media allowed itself to be like this altogether.
That, along with the fact that you manage to make a horny game somewhat "make sense" through the virtue of using sexual activity as a tool to polish character development is completely insane, and i can't possibly express how much love i have for your work.

Thank you for making Goddess's whim until now, and up to as far as you'll go! And i hope that that vacation helped you as much as you wanted it to. Taking care of yourself is important, even for us -- as a better you, means a better game!

...Do you even know how koikatsu works?
It's more or less MMD but made entirely for sex scenes.
Every single character is entirely custom, and while yes there are some preset sex animations, this game contains a lot of homemade content, like most Koikatsu games do.
This is like saying "this isn't really a game because it's made in RPG maker", like what?
Because yeah, this is also a visual NOVEL. You know, the kind of game where the narrative - the one thing koikatsu doesn't give you much of - is the most important part?

Holy shit, this game is cool.
Scenes go hard, lots of collectibles for both fighting and extra menu pics, menu pics changes if Ish is horny, and it genuinely feels like a lot of love was poured into this game thus far, especially with the smart level design and actually tough as shit bossfight. Can't wait for it to get more updates!

It does say that "this game isn't localized" yet at the beginning of the page! It's in japanese.
To understand the key pieces of text for now though, i've used screen captures and google translate, as it can automatically scan and translate pieces of text you give it

In the creator's most recent twitter post (1 month ago), there's a gumroad link in which he mentions "starting back up game dev".
I think this is just a creative or not having enough time issue. Game could get abandoned or worked upon again in month or years.
Patreon was deleted too. Not entirely sure what's going on, doesn't feel like they were arrested/copyrighted tho, as this page should've been taken down if so

Yeah, Ncrow's kinda the only person to know how to make scenes THIS good with Koikatsu.

Man, this game is great.
It's the kind of game where you come for the porn, stay for the story... And the porn.

Genuinely, for a game made with the help of koikatsu, which notoriously tend to bring out cheap and low-quality games, this is several steps above anything else.

The characters are absolutely insanely amazing. The amount of personality in them is something you don't even see in your run-of-the-mill indie game. Goddesses's Whim really brings to me a new perspective of the kind of relationship you can create between the player and fictional characters.
This, of course, is heavily supported by the intimate scenes; I think the way you make the characters understand each other through both normal means and through sex really creates something that you couldn't replicate in other circumstances.

The story, in and of itself, isn't that special on a surface level.
Guy with a mediocre life gets ran over by a truck trying to save a girl... Gets isekai'd, blah blah blah.
But then, you start getting a few interesting details, here and there.
The worldbuilding is done thouroughly but in ways that don't appear to obvious.
A couple backstories - notably Ryoko and Akane's stories stuck to me the most so far - are starting to become genuinely intereting and well put together.
And altogether, it's just good. Way, way above anything i'd have ever expected to download from the itch.io nsfw tag.

And speaking of nsfw - let's talk about the porn scenes!
First of all, they're heavily helped by how well the characters are built.
And i'm not just talking about bodies here;
While yes there's a bit of everything for most people (FLAT IS JUSTICE I LOVE CHARLOTTE, MEDIUM IS PREMIUM I LOVE SAYORI)
, the fact that everyone is so unique truly helps to the overall experience.
Everyone experiences sex in truly different manners, and that makes every single scene absolutely holy to witness.
~~ Although, i do have a bit of criticism here, specifically about the text.
To put it simply, to me it's becoming redundant.
Every gal is very tight and holds MC's dick very hard.
I especially felt that with the very last scene of this update, Alice seemingly already having some sexual experience, and with all of her more motherly attributes, wouldn't it contribute to the experience for her to have more softness, for example? The kind of [pussy] you'd melt in, rather than same old same old?
(Sorry for my direct choice of words, i can't really find better words to express that.)
I hope we can have more variety in adjectives and horny writing in the future, it's be really amazing.

And as a last point, i want to add that HOLY SHIT THEY ARE ALL SO HUGGABLE.
Like really, for koikatsu chara designs, Ncrow - or you, if you are reading this! - has done an INSANE job with oh-so-many details, be it in their shape, body language, or even clothes. The details are pristine, and everyone is wearing clothes that make sense - which is harder to do than it looks like!!
I want to hug em.

Anywhos, i felt like writing this little commentary on here because i really appreciate your stuff.
An update every month for a one-manned project is utterly insane, don't overwork yourself!!
In the long run, even if the updates are small, that's okay as long as you stay healthy so you can manage to make this game what it can really be.

Thank you for making this game, i really hope this is one of the few indie projects that do end up going to completion. I'd be okay paying an actual entry price for this game the day it's done - say, on steam for exemple!
In the meantime, i'll try supporting you whenever i can, and i recommend anyone else reading this to do so as well.

My toughest challenge of all the tablets was the dead center one. I found the last one surprisingly feasible with a bit of luck, but otherwise with good reflexes they were all achievable. My biggest challenge overall was cutting enough time to be able to have 4-5 seconds times on the circles, because i'm not that good at pattern recognition. Since you're able to get under the required time for all the other challenges, you're able to be bad at the things you're bad at and focus on the rest, which i really liked.

Really great game so far. I really loved Himatsubushi and this game is really cool as well.
At the time of writing this i've played for ~15-20 mins and got every single Red tablet!!
My biggest criticism so far is that, on said last one, it's really uncool to have the most luck-dependent minigame right before the end. But the total time being so high allows you to be lucky on one of the two memories which just allowed me to get it!

The Simon Says is good rhythm-game type difficulty, the Circle is very good fast calculation dependant.
Though i'd like for the memory one to be less luck-based though, especially for the bigger one. Maybe make it so that when you've found the 1st or 2nd crystal, the next one has to be touching it? Like if you have the first crystal in a top corner, the next one would have to be right next to it or under it.

Love the art as always and can't wait for the game to release! <3

Side note to other players: While definitly not easy, the game IS possible. Heart is pure short-term memory, and you can scroll to make it go waaaay faster which cuts your time by a lot. On the 5th tablet (dead center one) you can cheese your way through getting a red by resetting until you get lucky with the first minigame (i got a 5.6s on it which let me get red with 2s to spare even though i fumbled the last circle on which i got 6s).

Some people are saying there will be an update in 7 days. Stay tuned!

Absolutely wonderful game. Pandora's introspection, how Addie reflects Pandora's thoughts in the opposite way, this game helped me understand my own depression just a little better.

I was originally roaming around Itch.io, horny for nsfw games when this came up.
I needed to gather a bit of energy to play it but holy hell, was it worth it...

All i have to add is, please don't misunderstand self-destruction for masochism. Or depression for an actual need to hurt others. You can get better, you'll find you way eventually.

Game is very decent, though i got turned off 'cause when you try to "seduce" the catgirl it forces you to blackmail her without a warning.

I believe that the Wiz Baby should be nerfed. Probably just a price increase should be fine, but only 125 for full-lane coverage single-handedly won me an entire run. Spam them all over the place, and they protectively snipe from across the map!

A lot of people suggest having an extra slot, but i think that it can be worked around by implementing more interesting ways of getting hearts. Maybe trinkets, giving a passive effect until your next shop? Or passives that give you hearts under some conditions? for exemple: every enemy a charger kills drops a hear/ some% for an enemy to drop a heart/ have your babies drop half their half cost when they die
This would also help with making the no heart-giving baby achievement actually achievable!

I was also thinking that Blood Puppy could be a passive that randomly takes place of a used charger after every shop.

Otherwise, great job on the game so far, can't wait to see more! Don't forget not to overload with work yourself either, dunno how you're doing with that, but quality over quantity remains way better anyway!

I used to play this game quite a bit ago. The new stuff impletmented such as the 3rd boss and the Compete option giving a new aspect to the game is awesome! I'll definitivly play on the steam release. 
Also, i'm on chrome w/ bad RAM and i have no lag or input lag. Nicely done!

Honestly i believe they're kindof hard to dodge, but with a little bit of training you easily get used to it: It sticks perfectly with the current difficulty of the game.

Had a weird game today. I used to rarely get any items aside from weapons; In 3 floors i could get simply one dash item, or just heavy bullets, today i ended up having a weapon, gatling gun, blink, heavy bullets and a total of 9 notes by the end of floor 1, the loot pools are kinda weird! Still had an awesome experience just like when i started playing this game, it fulfills a pleasant hour of my time.

Just like the comment below, an option to change keys would be great; But i guess it'll just come with a more complete options menu. I'll stick with changing my keyboard to qwerty everytime for now, it doens't modifies the experience ;)

Still an awesome game and can make an hour feel like it's nothing.
Also great job on the mobs, the fact that they "upgrade" when you get past floor 3 gives more durability to the game and makes it sortof more complete, since it's just made so well!
Got a few glitches!
First of all, something that's not really a bug but that the WebGL engine doesn't support: Gatling gun, turrets, with a purple note on the turrets. When they start shooting the game starts lagging a lot, probably due to the amount of particles/lights it creates.

Something else i've seen in other comments before is a problem with the Heavy Bullets: Whenever you're stuck to a wall with this upgrade, no matter where you shoot, the bullets alwways touch the wall, preventing you from firing.

I also got something weird while fighting the boss on floor 5, for some reason his insect swarm pattern (when sudden lines appear) didn't seem to collide with me. I have two ideas about this: Either this pattern is glitched due to the amount of floors, or it's because when you dash right at the good time you get some invicibility, but the way it's done makes it that this pattern goes away fast enough for it to just.. Not touch you.

Last thing i found is the trigger zone to start a room. If you don't go deep enough in any room, you can't hurt enemies: Problem is they can hurt you... I started going into a room, a snake passed by so i recoiled while shooting thinking i would kill it, then died after realising that the room didn't trigger and i couldn't hurt the mobs yet.

Well no, the thing is i believe weapons should only work on the last note right? Well Double Trouble works on both last and first note (you can see the single blue note on the screen cap being shot twice whils it shouldn't

Just got to stage 5! That pattern where the floor 2 boss sends out lines of insects got me.
A little side note: Barrier needs a nerf. Same damage per bullet but twice the amount of bullets? Just get all possible purple notes, a few blues and yellows, and you kill any boss or mini boss in 10-15 seconds. And is synergises with almost every weapon! Scattershot, turrets, double trouble.. Please nerf it, just get less damage so that to be OP you need both barrier and heavy bullets, otherwise get get that weapon and you can easily get wherever you want, i died cause i was playing around and not being focused :/

The game's awesome. Found a tinnie tiny glitch that randomly occurs. It's nice having double double trouble floor 1.

you should add some kind of price for winning. For exemple a free skin part, with drop chances, so there's still some kind of challenge

A friend list would also be awesome. So you can play with friends you met on the game.(like a "add friend" button) (no in-game chat or anything though, that would be easy cheat)
