I love the character art! But as was said, the buttons are small and also the "serve" button is as far away from the colored potions as possible for some reason hahaha. A lot of time is used just moving the mouse back. Would be great to have some basic sounds like filling a drink and maybe some bar music!
Hi, thanks for playing it!
You're totally right about the RNG-ness of it. It was made for a 9 day game jam and we didn't have the mechanics solidified until half-way through. There was no time to balance the game unfortunately.
Great ideas! At the moment I want to take a break from it, but if I ever come back, I definitely want to introduce decks and remove the randomness as much as possible, as well as add cards with actions other than simple number increase/decrease.
Thank you again for taking the time to play and comment!
I finally gave your game a try. It's pretty cool! I got to level 9, then it wouldn't let me proceed even though i distributed the elements according to the rules.
I think it'd be great if there was some sort of feedback to the player when something is wrong. Other than that, it's very good :) maybe make it a little bigger ^^
Thank you again! I haven't thought about the progress regressing over time, it could be the potential fix. But as you said, this is just a 2 day jam game which I'm not really willing to put more time into. Not right now at least.
And yeah, I was planning to take part in the Godot Wild Jam, but I was traveling until now and don't think I have the mental energy for it! Similarly next month I'm also traveling during the jam period... but I plan to participate in the one after that in November :) and you?
Thanks for giving it a try, I appreciate it!
Yeah I know it's very far from perfect, there is not a lot of player agency like you said. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to improve on that. I tried not resetting the drawing bar, but that made the game too easy...
Thank you for taking the time to write some feedback :)
