this is a fun little game! but i agree - the font is a little hard to read.

sure! once you create the server, you can instantly send updates regarding the jam and if anyone has a question, you can answer it right away and multiple people can view it at the same time! it's really useful and really handy, especially if you wanted to reach multiple at the same time. itch.co is good but perhaps discord could be easier to maintain.

another thing is that you can create different channels for others to chat in and maybe make friends with each other and get to know each other or even exchange ideas!

out of curiosity, is there going to be a discord server for this jam?

Thank you so much for playing this game! And yeah, that was supposed to happen. :P They shouldn't be confessing when there's a devil trying to get in! This game was made for a game jam - but if there was enough interest, I would love to work on a full game for this.

And thank you for your comments on the dialogue! I was worried that it didn't so thank you for reassuring me! ^^

honestly same here haha i'm a writer so i want to try to become a visual novelist! \^^/

oh nice! im excited to start this! time to get another notebook and start writing!

ah thank you... sorry... i didn't have enough time to finish it or put in everything i wanted as it was for a game jam. but i'll keep that in mind when i start working on it more! (and by the way, there's only a singular author - me!)

thank you so much for your kind comment! ^^

heh, that's what i was trying to go for! i'm glad you were able to pick it up!

Oh! Thank you for the clarification!

oh, thank you so much! ^^/ i'm glad you enjoyed that neat little feature!!

Ahaha, thanks but it should be directed to Elzee! ^^

When you scroll down from the top, stop when you see "Download now". When the price thing comes up, put 0 to get it for free and pick "Windows" to download it. ^^ Hopefully, that helps!

Thank you so much for your comment! Maybe if I get enough people interested, a full game could be worked out. ^^/ I hope you've been well!

1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?

hi! i'm lily.  nice to meet everyone!

2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?

i did not participate - this will be my first jam. i've always been interested in making games, especially rpgmaker and visual novels (kinetic and dating sims) but i always felt scared to do it. i figured if i joined a jam, maybe a deadline will finally get me started on my indie game career.  :3

3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?

hmm, i've been an avid fan of pokemon and ace attorney but i'm also starting like rpgmaker games. my favorites include mad father and corpse party!

4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?

i wouldn't say that i have but i like to tinker around with rpgmaker (2k3, xp, vx ace) and ren'py. all i've done is create maps and just stared at it hoping it'll finish on its own... and ren'py stories tend to get over complicated with me except, hopefully, this time.

5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!

i love writing so much! there's a reason why people like certain games (like ace attorney for example) and i really want to tell my stories through multiple formats! i'm also a big fan of game music - i would like to create my own music one day but one step at a time...

6. What are your goals for this game jam?

i really want to start something fresh and new - and actually finish something. as in, there's a beginning, middle and end.

7. Any advice to new jammers (if you're a veteran)?

even though i'm a newbie, one thing that always tripped me up was the fact i over complicate things. please keep things simple! make life easier on yourself...
