A short and mildly challenging jumping platformer.

Features themes of surrealism, depression, sadness, death and discomfort.

The game should take 15-20 minutes to complete depending on how comfortable you are with jumping platformers.

There are two endings, depending on how many pictures you pick up throughout the play through.

Hello!

Bincer Productions is a two man team making games for fun as a hobby - we both have degrees in Computer Game Science from university and although we never stepped foot into the games industry professional as our jobs, we still have a huge interest in making games.

We primarily use Unity or Unreal and are mostly experienced in C#, HTML5, PHP, JavaScript & Blueprints, along with art & music.

We like to make games that are challenging and give the player a rewarding experience by making sure the game isn't too easy, although progressively they get harder so you can feel the learning curve. A lot of our themes would be to do with mystery, horror, occult, fantasy, sci-fi & religion.

Summary

Summit of the Stars: Altoph, is a SHMUP that takes heavy inspiration from R-Type and Gradius.

The game is meant to be challenging and a reimagination of classical SHMUPs.

Take control of a wanderlust alien spacecraft. Destroy a variety of enemies that have their own abilities, movements and powers. Empower your spacecraft with various upgrades and lost technologies. Survive and uncover the truth in the SotS universe.

Explore through debris and torn apart ships, scattered across the direction you are heading towards. You are the final hope against the human onslaught and the mysteries of the universe.

• 3 linear levels
• 10 different guns to use & upgrade, all with their own strengths & weaknesses
• 3 unique bosses, 1 at the end of each level
• Many different enemies to defeat that all have their own attack patterns & movements
• Destructible terrain & objects that may or may not, assist the player
