This is cute, but I maxed everything out in barely 10 or so minutes.

(1 edit)

Dope. This is pretty interesting and I can see a lot of potential. I love watching the little guy jump around, it's so cute.

I hope there's a way to save soon, unless there already is and I don't see it?

I turn the music off in the options, but there's still music playing in the background.

Virus detected... hmmm...

Also getting black screens and screen flickering when running the game and I click on the screen.

Sooo... 9 months later... How do I get the 100 Secret thing? And the "Requires some tapping" thing?

This definitely needs more. You're on to something here.

Game updated 31 days ago, but nothing about it has changed and nothing added. Hmmm...

This would be better if I could play it in window mode, rather than full screen.

What do the machines do anyway?

I don't get it. I think most people are going to interpret it literally because there's nothing to indicate that they shouldn't take it literally.

100 Secrets??? There are 100 secrets in the game?

And now the cursor thing stopped working again. It was working for several hours today, however.

Not sure if it's relevant but it stopped working after I bought some upgrades in the Element shop. But I'm pretty sure I hadn't bought anything from the Element shop the first time the cursor stopped working so maybe it's certain upgrades? Not sure.

I've saved and refreshed. Still won't work now.

Here's a short vid that shows what happens after I enable custom cursor:

Opera GX and W11.

Edit: Actually, today it works. Not sure why. Maybe browser, a driver or some extension needed updating.

Actually, about the custom cursor; when I enable it and then click to close the settings window, the custom cursor disappears. When I go back to settings, it's still enabled, but the cursor is the default one.

Sorry, two months late. I meant the things in the rainbow and time travel shops.

Thanks for making the cursor bigger, btw.

"Next time try not to use first latinos music you step into in your playlist, it's incredibly offputing."

What are you on about? The music is dope. Not everything has to be american music.

Ok, first, don't listen to Altael and the comment about the music. Fuck that guy. The music is DOPE. Don't change it.

Second, the visuals are pretty nice. They're simple, but pleasing.

Edit: Been playing about 20 minutes. The game is nice, but I'm not sure what the end game is here. I wish there was more, maybe a prestige system with more unlocks and different plant types maybe?

All in all, good game. I just wish there was more.

Edit 2: Also, more music. That playlist slapped so maybe more music by that same group or maybe of that genre?

:O So... this is getting an update? Sometime in the future?

It's been two years and I still wish there was more. More machines. More levers. More switches, buttons and doodads. I want more things to spend orbs on. I want slides, holes and spiral tracks for my clickety-clackety-CLICKETY-clackety-click orbs to slide on, in and around.

I also want things that go squish. That go splish splash. Things that go bump.

Do the things in the Rainbow menu give bonuses or are they just skins? ALSO, it'd be great if it could ASK if I want to purchase the thing before actually purchasing it when I click on it just the once.

My only gripe is that the cursor is hard to see. Most are using the default cursor pointer and it gets kinda lost amid all the moving parts and what not. So sometimes when I want to click on something, I miss it because I can't find my cursor in time or I end up clicking on the wrong thing.

Had everything researched before even putting the first radar thing down. Ended too quickly.

Edit: Explored map. Didn't find anything significant. Should I have?

I've a question though: I have an orange duck lvl 500+, and sometimes it asks for huge amounts of bread in a red box thingy in the top left corner of the duck thing. What am I feeding it these huge amounts of bread for? What's the purpose?

Do you have any intention of creating a webpage for this game? Because I feel like this game could be much bigger and have more content. My dude, you're onto something here. This game is cute as fuck so I have to see it developed more.

Edit: Also, the quacking is just damn cute.

Edit #2: Oh and in the Challenge section, why not add different kinds of mini games for bonuses and/or ducks? Or bread? For example, the little game you have now is good, but also how about a little whack-a-duck (whack-a-mole?) game where we whack ducks that poke their little duck heads out of holes randomly and they quack when you hit them (ooooh, calling it Quack A Duck??)??

OR you could have ducks running across the top of the game screen window and as they run past, they drop loaves of bread and you have to catch them in a bread basket to get bonuses, and different ducks move at different speeds depending on their kind.

OR a duck moves around the little game window and randomly quacks its little mouth open, and you have to toss a loaf of bread into its little quacking mouth. You get a reward according to how many loaves you managed to toss in.

Or something like that. I'm sure there's different things you could put there that we can play once every hour (maybe a different game appears randomly once every hour?).

Been playing most of the day and I'm enjoying it so far, it's cute. But... It's slow. Really slow. Hmmm...

Or just add the option to mute sound(s).

The music and sounds are super annoying.

What does "Starting Cash" do exactly? I'm not sure what it means.

This game would be much more enjoyable if the particle affects could be turned on/off, individually, without affecting the bonus/upgrade they give.

Hey, how about a separate window for equipment that are equipped? Including tools, so that when you equip something (armor, accessories or tools) it no longer occupies a spot in the inventory that could otherwise be used for something else.

Cool beans. Thanks.

This is pretty neat. I hope there'll be a Ranking system soon maybe or? It'd be neat to rank ourselves against other players.

But I have a problem. How am I supposed to make a pickaxe? Says pickaxe is lvl 8, but to level up I need to mine for materials... but I need a pickaxe to do that.

Am I missing something here or?

I can't fish without a rod so I need to make a rod. But to make a rod I need to farm for materials. But to farm for materials I need the right equipment. But to get the right equipment I need to make them. But to make them I need to farm for those materials... But it doesn't let me because I need the right equipment like an axe or pickaxe...

Edit: Found that if you thieve, you can buy lock picks to lockpick the chest. But that's not really immediately obvious, is it? Hmmm...

Edit 2: Also, it stops idling unless I have the window on top. Even when I have a separate window open, it still stops idling unless I have this window on top. Kinda kills the whole "idle" of it if I can't idle.

So, 8 months later... I'm still hoping you'll come update this little thing. Because it's cute and I think some people might really enjoy this kind of idle/incremental game as a desktop sort of widget/overlay thing, rather than something they have to play in browser or install. Especially the folks on r/incremental_games on Reddit.

I'll keep checking back every once in a while, hoping you see this and this game gets some loving.

Oh my god. Yes. I love you. This is cute. Please update this with more balloon stuff updates. <3 Like more balloons and coloured balloons and shaped balloons and more shop upgrades and what not. Because mine says fully upgraded already. :( Needs more.

Just saw the stuff under "First version!". I'll wait until there's more. :)

So what do I do with all these hats? Do I just give them to my Bub or?

Never mind. I found it.

(1 edit)

This was enjoyable but I have an issue with this game: it ended. I really wish it were longer and by that I mean much longer, with more things to do. I was hoping that after the code was submitted that it was a sort of "prestige" or some such.

Anyway, GG. Just too bad it was short.

Edit: Also, I really like that it was sort of creepy and dark.
