Really cool concpet! I like the animations and the dialogue portraits are also very nice, although the initial dialogue is pretty lengthy. Platforming is good in theory but the super strong gravity on the jump makes it pretty unforgiving. Definitely a cool concept though! Well done!
This is really cool, I like the main mechanic and it's an interesting take on the 'rewind' theme. One thing to include would maybe be a hint to the player that 'rewinding' resets their jump, as this wasn't that clear initially. Overall though, good job!
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah it was my first game jam and I actually only started working on it on the 4th so just tried to get the mechanics down over everything else. If I had more time I would have liked to add more animations/transitions that would put more of an emphasis on the 'rewinding' through past videogame eras but I think it ended up being more of a proof of concept than a full game.
