The game can really help in developmental purposes. For example, learning to cross colors and simple basics of genetics. For example, our bunnies born from crossed colores parents are choosing their colors close to a simplified reproduction of a recessive species.

Hi! Thanks a lot :) We already have a time limit in later levels, for example on level 5. You can get to it by pressing the level skip button, to the right of the level start button.
We also have foxes, holes, disease and RABIES in the game.
For more fun, I advise you to get acquainted with all the levels, at least with the help of the level skip button, it will not take much time, but you will see a lot of new things!

We tried to use all of our tools to make the levels feel varied.
Also we tried to make levels of increased difficulty with their help, for example, levels 10-12. And they really turned out to be difficult.

If you play a little longer, you may find how the rabbits get sick and sneeze on each other. And even further we have implemented the RABIES mechanic. You can try further levels with it too :) just use skip button for it (it placed on right side of level start button). Level 6 for example have this mechanics) Give it a try for more fun :D
I think the area selection is to blame. Sometimes when you long press you select a small area and not a specific rabbit because it ran away from you.
Area selection instead of clicking would definitely make the game easier for you and you wouldn't have to catch the rabbits one by one.
But sometimes you need to catch them exactly one by one, to stop spreading diseases.
And it's mostly a polishing of controls problems in any game from jams, not a skill issue.

And in fact, you are so smart that you immediately grasped everything on the fly, about a third of people did not understand what and how to do correctly. Partly, this is due to the pure randomness of crossing, when you can not get a rabbit of the desired color for a long time like in real genetics, so this third part of people sometimes stayed confused. Because otherwise, the games would simply not understand what was going on sometimes. Streamers had moments of revelation precisely because the levels were a little longer than they really would have been.
We hadn't enough time to balance it perfectly, foxes can eat rabbits faster too, escpecially when they're chasing them.
And pure random of color mixing also prolong waiting time when you catch it. But If you crossbreed recessive colors you understood how to speed up the process, that's a hidden mechanic.

But from the player's point of view, yes, you want to move on as quickly as possible, and not wait, for this we introduced a level skip button, so that the player could say, aha, I understand how it works, I'll see what they have prepared next.
Cozy and relaxing game. Cute art and funny voice-actoring :D Sounds a little too loud, but decreasing my mixer volume solved it. Remind me Psychonauts game :D Also you have intresting theme interpritation. Bad thought also scales themselves in our mind too, maybe you thought about it too when thinking about concept.

Yes, games that play themselves a little cause a similar meditative/boring feeling, I understand. Especially our first levels, they are a kind of training and a little drawn out.
I advise you to try later levels (9-12) to understand that in the game you need not only to sit and wait, but actively control the rabbit population. Just press the skip button to the right of the start button.

Most likely this feeling arose because you only played the first tutorial levels. Play the later levels of the game, especially 10, 11 or 12. In them the feeling that you have done something is much higher. You can reach this levels by using special "skip" button on the right of "start" button.
Hope this will change your mind about your impact in our game!
