Hey, thanks for playing and taking the time to give feedback!  Sorry I haven't got back to you yet - have felt a bit under the weather today.  Not sure if actually sick or if it's allergies, or just too much time at the computer lately lol.  Anyway, really appreciate your insight!  all things I agree with.  Not to really give an excuse or anything, but stuff like music is really not my forte, which is why I didn't bother trying in such a short window of time, but yeah, really ought to think about what kind of music might fit this game.  Not sure if I'll develop this idea into anything more in the future, but good things to note down just in case!

just a few more pictures I’ve got tonight.  Guess we’re nearly there!

not much of an update to give, have a lot done around the halfish way mark but I'd like to leave a lot of it a surprise.  So i'll just go ahead and share some unfinished screenshots of one of the first rooms, as well as an at the time unfinished enemy sprite.

Thank you Benny!  Likewise with yours!

Thanks, Riggy!  gonna have to put some sweeter stuff in to balance it out a bit lol

It only just occurred to me, I made a decoy last night but didn’t actually put it on this page.  Doh.  Pretty much copy/paste:

What a long and productive day it's been, at least by my standards.  Just got done with one jam and right into another, but I feel excited rather than exhausted.  Perhaps I simply enjoy this theme more, especially considering the season.  I don't generally play a lot of horror games and can probably count the ones I've finished on one hand (Shadows of the Damned, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, perhaps one day I'll finish Chulip...does Deadly Premonition really count?) but I love watching others play in order to experience the stories.  With the recent Silent Hill 2 remake being released, I realized just how much I adore the original and wanted to make something of my own in the same vein.  I'm sure it won't be as good, and there are other inspirations such as Junji Ito's works at play here, but I think these ideas are just as good to spring off of.

I don't even have a name in mind yet but I'm sure it will come.  Most of today has been spent on assets, mostly art as I feel it's my strong suit, but learning my lesson from my previous endeavor, I've made sure to spend some time on other aspects as well in hopes that this will be more balanced and actually include everything I plan to.  This is pretty much the culmination of today's work, kind of duct taped together as it is.  I don't want to spoil too much in the coming days, so I'll have to design around that.

Hello everyone!

I usually go by Bloody, can call me Travis if you want.  I plan on working alone on my own project mostly because I feel like I’d hold others back with how I don’t work well under pressure lol.  Maybe one day.  But I wish everyone luck!  Just thought I’d introduce myself for anyone who might not know me from Riggy’s last jam.

I’ve been waiting for a new one, last time was a blast

That is unfortunate to hear…even these smaller sites having vague rules.  Can only hope there gets to being more competition eventually so that developers and customers alike have more options available to them.

I plan to purchase eventually - unfortunately not much spending money right now.

But I’m curious.  Is there any specific reason this can no longer be sold here?  Just in regards to how Steam also seemed to arbitrarily decide not to let you sell on their platform.

Pretty fun game, way more interesting than I'd anticipated!  Admittedly not too big into horror, guess I should have expected it to go that way not too far in, but still enjoyed it.  Perhaps it's because I have not delved into too many RPG Maker games, but this felt like it did a lot with those assets - goes to show how important creativity can be for this kind of project.  Hope to see more from you eventually!
