apparently it can be fixed by fighting him again and letting him get close, don't really understand that to be honest.
Probably a bug, there's an purple color filter that is applied when losing to the purple rena in the gallery, don't know why that doesn't go away...

ok, good thing I pointed it out, be sure to test other things of the gallery in case they give an actual game over.
Noticed this today, fighting and losing to the slime clones in the gallery wrongly results in a game over, don't know if that's a bug or not.
