Very creative idea and well executed! It was really fun trying to catch the rocket way haha :D I found it little difficult to carve out a path through many asteroids of different sizes so the slow down assist button was definitely helpful.

It's a really fun game with very dynamic tower defense game unlike traditional ones. I don't know if this is intended but I especially liked that you can body-block the incoming enemies for give your towers time to finish them off :D

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah we know we stretched the theme, all in good fun in the name of science! Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to work a lot on the UI/UX of the game and some bugs definitely seeped through.

Thank you for the feedback! Yes, I think the game needs a lot more in the UI/UX department if it were to become a thing.  We would absolutely have to iterate on how to make the goal of the game clearer since it's a major factor in getting players to engage with it!

Thank you for the kind words and I really liked your suggestions, especially the shadows default response one! I agree that we will need to implement some ways to introduce organic hints into the game or a way to show that a piece of dialogue is important to the story without having the player experienced spoiled. That will definitely be a challenge going further.

Really cool game, I especially like the setting a lot! I enjoyed that the clues tie into each other in a satisfying way. Also, it's extra impressive that you did *almost* everything all by yourself!

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback and suggestion!

You're absolutely right about the hand clogging problem. Our main concern with deleting cards was that how does the player to go back to a dialogue response, if they forget something they've already seen? This would require a different mechanic since the card would be removed after dropping. This issue, as you also mentioned, is mainly due to the "free-hand highlighting" mechanic.

Your suggestion is spot on and something we also discussed. Honestly, the highlighting was what we wanted to test in the jam since it's a high risk high reward kind of thing. It makes the game novel and intriguing but it's unintuitive, has accessibility issues, and causes design problems like the ones you mentioned.  Ultimately, its existence depends whether we can get it there or not.

Thank you for your feedback! Yes, definitely that is something we need to address. There were different problems when we limited hand size vs when we didn’t. Hopefully,  we’ll find an elegant solution to it.
