Hey thanks for playing! One of my design goals was to keep all the action tied to one button so that my young kids could play this on a keyboard without issue. I found that during the dash section if you release for the first jump out of dash, then press and hold shift for the double jump, you'll land on the next platform already in dash state. It's a pretty nice rhythm once you get used to it. Though I totally agree with your criticism and in a commercial game I would have mapped the actions to separate inputs!

I knew I should have taken out the ability to walk on the ceiling when I ended up not even using it ha. I had shoehorned it in at the beginning of the project but then ran out of time to integrate and test it. And yeah, I think adding the ability to respawn was the best thing I could have done. Too many places where getting stuck is a possibility :/ Thanks for playing!
