finally got around to running this last night! good stuff. i love the art and dark vibes. i did add a secret door in the first room and the players ended up discovering it and going through the dungeon backwards. im also happy they ended up lighting all of the fire things so that was super cool! i definitely plan on running it again with another group though because i didn't get a lot of time to prepared and we got cut off at the end so didn't get to the last two rooms. super cool tho. one minor suggestion would be to expand on where the players actually start. do they start in the town or at the dungeon? I let them start at the dungeon and just fast tracked the background info.

Ok I read over the adventure again and I see that room 4 mentions Luna says her husband is trapped in room 11. It took me a minute to figure this out. At first I thought that Luna and her husband got into some kind of a fight with the werewolves and Kain was imprisoning Luna’s husband lol I was very confused, but I think I’ve finally got it now:
Luna ebert and her husband kain are all werewolves and they’ve ransacked and tried to takeover this temple in hopes of getting rid of their lycanthropy in the process while trying to figure out how to heal themselves they have also killed almost all three of the temple druids in some kind of a battle but the lycanthropes just nearly sort of won with Luna ending up chained up and kain being stuck in the well somehow. Ebert was out and about watching or something and I assume doesn’t know about his companions predicaments but they have essentially killed everyone there.
i started running this with someone but then they had to go but it was really cool at the start. im definitely going to finish running it with someone.
I have a question. Room 8 describes a faint male voice saying “help they’ve trapped me down here.” Where is that voice coming from? Is that coming from room 11 and if so is it Kain I’m assuming trying to trick the players?
really liked the visuals and audio. it made for a peaceful experience. i also liked that the restart time was very quick. i saw a similar game to this concept in this jam as well and it had some markers in the darkness which allowed for a little bit of a reminder as to where things are in the level. maybe that would make the levels slightly less challenging. nice job tho!
great little prototype here!! i love the look and feel of the game. one thing i would change personally is i would make it so that the light follows the mouse automatically instead of following the mouse by clicking and dragging that was a little tedious but yeah i like the visuals a lot and you've got a solid mechanic.
