I know this fact, but the most of the pixelart games menu use pictures which looks different than the game, but on the other hand, they are related to the topic, what is also our case.
This game looks like something from early 2000s. But on the other hand it was interesting to play it. I also think, that controls are reacting with short delay, but maybe it developer had reason for doing that.
Sure I definitely think, that it is better idea, than just trying to something without any experience and finding day before you should submit it, that you have nothing at all. I am sorry if my original comment looks offensive, I just basically wanted to say, that I found that fact funny.
Despite the fact, that I found gameplay intersting, I was sad about think, that was already mentioned here. The game had frozen several times, so I couldn't play it very well.
I extremely enjoyed playing of the game. It has little bit dark graphics, but it is looking fantastic. In addition to its awesome design there is beautiful background music. In conclusion I can highly recommend to play this game.
The first thing, which impress you on this game is its funny name. This was only original reason why i played it, but when I started to play I saw, that this game has lot more to offer me. In addition to the funny name, the game has a interesting mechanics. On the other hand, design is not a strong part of the entry. I know that not everybody (including me) has artistic talent, but you should find some artistic references to follow next time. Then you'll see, that you can do better art.
Although, game is fun, it is just a copy of the Detective Truth done by Brackeys. In the next competition you should come with your original idea. I know that you can do it...
I like this extremely interesting idea of the game. But I think, that you should add a more levels, because I've won the game after 30 seconds. In addition to this, you should chose better font next time, because although game graphics is done excellently, font and buttons don't fit there. In conclusion I enjoyed playing this game and I highly recommend to play it.
Sure, some of mines did not respawn, because in real life, mine explode and not respawn, but on the other hand, there are some unbreakable mines, which are not real life based.
I enjoying playing this interesting game with the nice art. But despite the fact, that this game has very good music, I am sad about sound effect which really blends with the music and don't even fit there. In addition to not fitting sfx I was confused about current gameplay. At the beginning, I had no idea, what stands for character, or what is my point. On the other hand, when I realized all this thinks, I found game extremely funny.
I think, that it is sometimes hard to control character. In addition to it I had always forgotten what is where located. I think, that you should implement some minimap or visibility of the other rooms.
