How does you game fit the theme?
You know you are hungry. But what you don't know is that you are in a dream and nothing is real.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Most of it yes, but we recycled some stuff from previous projects.

interesting game . Well done !!
you're finally awake
very cool game
i love the psx style
i dont find the jump SFX fits with the this style!
overall well done :)
Nice game, I like the visuals and the game looks great. Very nice, Rated it! If possible do rate and play my game :)
Its Jump King in first person. Frustrating but addictive. The atmosphere is also really creepy.
I was not expecting a jump game! I do love pickles though. Great atmosphere and love the idea! The VO for the game was a great touch and gave it life.
This game looks like something from early 2000s. But on the other hand it was interesting to play it. I also think, that controls are reacting with short delay, but maybe it developer had reason for doing that.
I really loved the style of this game - it was very atmospheric and chilling. Unfortunately I found the jump mechanic very awkward to use. I've never seen a rigid jump used like that in a first person game before. I only managed to get a few platforms up (just below the two rope bridge type things) before I got a bit frustrated with falling down. Love the use of voice overs though, reminded me in a strange way of the game Normality.
Edit: I actually came back to this because it intrigued me so much. I've managed to get just past the rope bridge bit now, to the little fortress section. Not sure how best to proceed, but I'm likely gonna give it another go later. Guess the jump mechanic didn't bother me as much as I first thought :)
What a ghastly introduction; positively horrifying. I would be terrified if I got lost on the way to my tea and crumpets.
Good show, chaps, good show.
I really like the style and graphics that you choose. One thing that put me off is the jump SFX which doesn't really fit the overall feel/style you're going with, IMO.
I never thought i would get so scared trying to get a pickle! I love the audio in this game.
Great job. :)
The quest for the legendary pickle has never been more surreal.
It’s difficult too.
I loved the jump-scares at the beginning. I think the jumps are too tight. I got as far as the top of the middle platform and couldn't figure out where to go from there. I'd love to see what other content your game has. Perhaps you could drop me a hint to progress?

Thanks for the gameplay video. I hope y'all had a lot of fun making it. I think something that might help is increasing visibility (hopefully you can still keep the mood), slightly decreasing difficulty (if its too hard for the developer its impossible for the player), and possibly doing something to make success more rewarding (Checkpoints maybe? Or an item that helps you regain progress faster?). Great work this jam! Good luck in future endeavors!
Hello, I am the level designer. Thank you for playing our game and giving all this feedback. We had fun making the game but we had only 1 day because we were busy the rest of the time which did put a lot of pressure. The game indeed needs to be brighter. I guess I didn't notice because my monitor's brightness is too high :/. This is a shame because this leads to some people having a bad experience. We were going to add brightness slider but we ran out of time. About the difficulty, Vulpes did say multiple times that it was really hard and I tried to make it easier but I couldn't test it myself because it was not hard for me and he was busy but if we continue working on this project I will definitely try to make it easier at least at the start.
Thank you for your detailed feedback about the develoment of your game! I know how hard development can be. There was a lot I liked about your game! It set the tone very well in the beginning. I know how hard it can be to make a game work. Good luck this jam!
I really like the style and the concept remind me of resident evil on ps2 style i guess
it's kind hard for me to play because the jumping mechanics kinda bounce the player out so sometime i can't reach a platform.
one thing i found that if u stand close enough to walls and u hold jumping
it gonna blast the player even higher than normal jump
overall cool game :D
