Hi Kay!

Of course I can help give some advice! I also come from a sales background and I do understand that the sense of being "annoying" can irritate people, but what I found out it's how you structure the conversation that can make a difference! Here are some tips that I fund very useful when making a engaging conversation:

-Start an unrelated conversation starter to get the person engaged! Some topics would be: Food, Video Games, How is their day, etc. Make the person feel heard and valued! It's more about listening to them and start building that relationship!
-After a starting conversation, have a smooth transition! For example, it can be something as "Wow I really love what you said about, XYZ, and it really resonates with me. With that being said, I actually finished a TTRPG game that I have done on my free time! Would you like to hear more about it?"
-Most of the times they will say yes after you have built that conversation starter and you listen to them! When describing the game, provide a summary of the game! If they say no or object to it, it's okay! Sales people get told no's too!  It's like saying show the big picture! From my experience, people don't really care how it is made, they are more interested on how it can help them find solutions! In your case of video games, you can paint a picture by expressing the exciting content of the game! You want the person to feel excited about the main things of what to expect! Make the game sound exciting not boring!
-Overall I would say my formula to make it easier:
Starter Conversation + Active Listening + Transition to talk about the game + Talk about how exciting it is! + Let the person speak/give feedback + Answer questions if needed + Close it up = Great conversation!
**It's also how you set the tone/energy too! If you are excited, they will feel that energy too!

I hope this helps Kay!

And I will try New England Clams! I will tell you how it tastes! Now I gotta find a place that serves it lol.

Hello there!
I will start off by saying that I am a person that loves to play video games and loves to build relationships with people! And coming in as a new graduate, I would love to apply my skillsets to help anybody in need!

Here are some fun facts about me:

  • I majored in Food Science and Technology with an Operations Management Minor. (Hey I know its weird, but I learned alot of amazing skillsets!)
  • I love playing Wangan Midnight, Asseto Corsa, Pac-Man, Super Mario, Pokémon, and Final Fantasy! I am more than open to try new games!
  • I am a firm believer of self-learning and development! I recently got my black belt lean six sigma certification, and I love analyzing problems and providing solutions to optimize efficiency!
  • As strange as it may sound as a Food Scientist, I know some beginning python and I would love to learn and expand my skills on it!
  • Outside, I love trying new foods! Hey as a foodie, I just have to try it! If anyone has a new food that they want me to try or even have a conversation about, I am more than happy to talk about it!

I would love to help out anybody with anything related to operations, business, and applying my black belt to bring solutions to the team!

And as proof I have the Black Belt, it is under this link!
