I'm so flattered that you played it not once, but twice! ;-;

This was the first real 'big' game I made and I'm still pretty proud of it to this day! (even though I've since learned a lot about stuff like layered images in renpy that would have saved so much time, haha...)

I think it's probably also no surprise to you that sci-fi is a setting I really like to work in XD Lots of room for good ol' introspection and existentialism

I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

And no, I have not! =O That sounds like something I should definitely check out. Thank you for the recommendation!

The art, writing and atmosphere were all top notch! When the moment was meant to be tense and unsettling, it nailed the mood. Consider my nerves fully wracked!

Wolf and Leo were a compelling duo, and I am EXTREMELY interested in how their relationship develops as the game progresses. Wolf especially is surprisingly endearing. Just a very normal boy trying to do very normal boy things.

The game also managed to put me in the mind of the characters, where I was making some pretty sadistic decisions based on pragmatism and cold calculus over emotional attachment. Normally I struggle to make naughty or rude choices in games . Here, Milo and I were debating some... pretty morbid decisions.

So, um. Good job breaking me out of my comfort zone, haha...

(P.S. To a certain character. I'm sorry. T-T You did nothing wrong)

These boys.

These are some good boys. I'll take both.

Seriously, though, the demo left me intrigued and wanting more! I love Warren's awkward bluntness and Mack's subtle affirmations of Addie's tics, and it's going to be really difficult to choose between them!

And I knew that it was a vain hope to expect Addie's mysterious secret to be revealed in the demo, but now I'm going to be speculating and theorizing until the full release!

Haha, I am pretty proud of it! But mostly I'm happy to hear people enjoyed it =)

Oh my goodness, thank you!

I'm not even sure how to respond to such kind words! ;_;

Aforementioned friend here! =D

The game was extremely charming and endearing! I liked both Aelfric and Conrad quite a lot, and found their relationship quite sweet. Aelfric being so instantly and intensely smitten was adorable to read (I love me a good lovestruck boi), and I was really rooting for the two of them by the end!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it =)

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment! ;A;

I'm glad you enjoyed the world building! It's something I'm pretty passionate about that I often have to temper, lest I end up with tons of dry exposition, haha. Not sure if this little tidbit of history is common knowledge, but the mining corp was actually based off old US coal mining towns, which would sometimes pay employees in a company scrip that could only be used at company owned stores!

As for Nova and MARC, I thought it would be interesting if they already had a stable, established relationship, and it was Nova's other relationships that would grow and strengthen through the story (if you choose to be invested in them), which would help them achieve their goals at the end.

And I'm sure Hollowmend/Milo is thrilled you liked Rosco, haha. He's admittedly a favorite of both of ours. An unexpectedly sweet and earnest boy. (Milo very much wants him to get his own boyfriend)

Hello Anwynn, and thank you so much!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Your support is always super appreciated ^_^

Thank you so much! ;A; I'd always wanted to try my hand at something whimsical and fairytale-esque so it's very humbling to see it resonating strongly with people!

Thank you for your kind words! This was my first attempt at a visual novel and a bit nerve-wracking to put out there, so I'm glad that it was able to resonate with you!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Life's been busy with my job and moving to a new place, but things have finally settled so I'm ready to get back to work on the Directive :) Hoping to have something to show for it soon, haha!

Finally got some time amidst the chaos to play through this one! :)

Very cute cozy story. Great job!

UWU

I'm always happy to lend a hand! It's been so much fun watching these goofballs come to life!

Congrats on the release of the demo!

The amount of polish in this segment alone is impressive, with the different animations and scene transitions.

And I am so excited to see where the story goes with these two! It's one of my favorite kind of character dynamic (gruff dad and his adopted child going on adventures) and I won't deny that the Traveler's design appeals greatly to me >>

Amazing work as always!

The art is adorable as usual, but the story was quite emotionally resonant. I got teary-eyed a few times and couldn't bring myself to go for the bad end.

Amazing!

What a sweet and enjoyable VN! The art was lovely and the writing was super charming!

The artwork was very lovely! A very nice first step into visual novel creation :)

I enjoyed this quite a bit! It got quite a few laughs out of me, especially the fridge note and email.

I have to admit, I wasn't quite sure what to expect based on the premise alone, but this was quite well-written and intriguing. Interesting take on a classic for sure.

Thank you again for your kind words! I've always enjoyed old school fairy-tales, personally, so always wanted to try my hand at writing something that had that kind of cadence and classic feel to it.

And unfortunately I don't have a very exciting portfolio when it comes to writing. It's just something I've always enjoyed doing as a hobby but never really had the nerve to share outside my immediate friend group until now. The response from the community has been so heartening!

Thank you so much for your kind words! Truly! ;~;

This was my first 'big' (for me!) passion project, and I'm hoping to do more games in this sort of setting, including a NanoRenO project next month!

And this game definitely intended to sort of lead the player to the 'bad' ends first just based on what you would think would be the expected 'correct' choices. I've always been worried it's a bit obtuse, though! Especially getting Ending A.

Thank you for the support! I enjoyed the playthrough and learned a lot about Menards! =)

Thank you! Glad that there are more spider lovers out there!

Cute art and very charming story! I enjoyed the twist in the full ending, though it does have some pretty dire implications for the 'bad' one knowing the full story.

Also, those plushies were so cute I wish that they were real!

I'm so happy you enjoyed it, and thank you so much, fellow spider apologist!

In response to the spoilers; I assure you, there is no need to worry about our little friend in that ending. :) It still gets its well-earned 'happily ever after' without any caveats.

Thank you! The backgrounds were made by a good personal friend of mine. They were so good I was compelled to redo the character art so the aesthetics matched better!

Thank you!

Haha, thank you! Oddly, that was a big goal of mine! I'm fond of spiders, so I wanted to make a sweet story, but also didn't want to make it seem like the spider was being punished for... well.. acting like a spider!

Thank you! I'm glad the little spider was able to touch some hearts!

Thank you very much! I personally love spiders so I wanted to make sure it was approachable enough for people who aren't so fond of them

Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Unfortunately I don't have the free time to support implementing any new features like translations right now :(

What a lovely playthrough and comment! Thank you!

Admittedly I'm pretty happy things like the rule of three and the deliberate obfuscation of the spider's gender was noticed!

I do understand the lack of love for the bride, though, haha. I didn't want to over-characterize them and take away from the fairytale simplicity, which resulted in the bride coming off as a bit of an airhead.

The other main ending does elaborate a SLIGHT bit more on her and her kindness to the other critters, though. (Don't worry, it won't make you feel bad for doing what a spider does!)

Thank you! I definitely endeavored to give it that storybook-esque tone, and I'm happy that it seems to have been effective!

And I definitely wanted to provide at least some kind of visual feedback, even for such a small number of options!

Oh no! That's so unfortunate!

In our household I'm the resident spider relocator, haha. If I'm the one that sees them I usually just leave them be, though (don't tell everyone else!)

And I'm truly flattered that you'll be thinking of this game whenever your little friend comes to visit! These comments have truly brightened my days!
