Sadly, no actual good ending.
You either spit out the food, or don't. And that one choice changes the entire game. You have no other choices afterward.
Either you spit out the food and go on a rebellious path. And she slowly gets pissed off at you for trying to resist her, ending up hating you and killing you. Or, you simply comply once and she's a totally different person. It was really jarring actually.
She's a stalker, totally. But she seemed to really care about your well-being and want to make you comfortable, its really sweet and everything she said about being your perfect match and being the one to fill the void the protag feels, made sense. It seemed to result in a bittersweet ending. But then as you're laying in bed with her, you stab her. And she (pretty gruesomely) dies. I understand she made the protag deal with some awful shit, but jesus christ this protag has no remorse. I can get the shock, the anger or adrenaline rush of having that vulnerable opening, but jesus fucking christ. With all of the stuff she was saying, I was swayed.
Not to mention I just felt bad to her cause like, she's broke as HELL and the only food available, was that (though fucking disgusting) maggot ridden oatmeal. And it made sense why she'd get mad after you waste it cause its the only thing she had and she was trying to be nice. She wanted to get better food, as she said, but couldn't.
She talks about how she's been kicked down all her life and stuff, and she's never been able to find someone to be with her. And she went on about how she would be your perfect match. It really hit me.
Maybe I'm humanizing a psychopath? But every human's actions are derived from somewhere. I just felt bad for her.
The writing is absolutely phenomenal though. Never before have I actually cared this much about a kidnapper LMFAO.
Killing her was a necessary evil to escape I suppose, but who's to say she wouldn't let you leave the house? She seemed to care about the protag I don't see why she wouldn't. I really just wish there was SOME kind of option or closure on what would happen if you decided to go with her plan.
