So I took time to check it out…

First game… an awful defeat (16 cards in hand). Second one was a bit better, with 2 (non matching) cards left. Next was a nice 4-card finish.

I even showed it to the kids (10 and 12 years old) and they got it immediatly and the youngest made a Super Win on her third attempt!

This small game rocks!

I really like this game, I instantly want to grab a deck and test it…

Physical games that are not RPGs are very welcome, in my opinion, don’t apologize for that!

wow.

This is an absolute perfection. Now I just wish I could wander around the Doodle Lands.

just… wow. Thank you very much for this gem.

Some members of the French Wing of the RPG Massive have suggested that maybe it’d be possible to extract a SRD of Spelunk! and propose to make new classes or even hacks of it.

I thought about it a little and I think it’d be doable, even though there are some details I’m not sure how far I should go (for example: are all NPCs bound to be described as Hit Points + Damages + a motivation? doesn’t that narrow the possibilities a bit too much? should we abstract them even further and say “NPCs are two stats and a description of the thing they want the most”? And by doing that, isn’t it too far?)

What do you think about it, Scott?

et voilà !

Love this. It makes me want to translate this in French. That’s a good sign.

Keep up the great work, Scott!

@redonihunter: I guess that doesn’t apply everywhere. The URL shortener bit.ly isn’t really located in Lybia, and the t.co isn’t in Colombia either.

I know that Catalunia handler (for .cat domains) restricts this TLD only for sites in Catalan language or related to the Catalunia… but doesn’t have territorial restrictions.

I think that it’s the ruler who makes the rules… And if I was the owner of a small-territory / small-population TLD, I think I’d open it for foreigners, because it’d increase my potential income.

je crois avoir repéré une faute sur la carte “secrétaire général”

ça dit : “PIOCHE 2 CARTES, CONSERVE 1 CARTE ET PLACE LES 2 AUTRES DANS L’ORDRE…”

Mais si je pioche 2 cartes et en conserve une seule, il ne reste qu’une seule carte, non ? Ou alors il faut piocher 3 cartes ?

excellent! thank you very much for this quick response!

Very interested by this creation and by the fact that, once again, the SRD is released under a free (as in speech and beer) license. Although, I’m not a lawyer, but if the ORC license works like the OGL, I think that the author has to specify which parts of the work are “Open” (Licensed Material) and which ones are not covered by the open license (Reserved Material).

Do you think it could be possible to indicate somewhere in the Creator Kit which parts are concerned by the ORC License?

Currently skimming through the book, so I’ve noticed that, at page 4 the last sentence is unfinished:

Luck is restored at the

at the… end of the session? at the end of the Delve?

Great concept!

I was wondering: in case of vs. check, what would be the range of the number to be chosen by the other mage?

btw, I’ve noticed that the PDFs don’t include the text, so they’re like full-images.

It’s readable and all, but do you think it’d be possible to publish a text version of the documents? That could open the way for hacks (and I’m thinking about translations, for example).

Very very nice condensed version of the GLOG, you’ve done a great job.

Although, as far as I can say, the original GLOG is published under a Creative Commons license CC-BY-NC-SA ; I think it’d be a great idea to add this license reference in the documents, so it could allow creators to make their own hacks, modules, etc. What do you think?

that’d be cool to have the English version for this item of the “Space” trilogy ;o)

This.

Rocks.

are we allowed to play elevator music when the PCs are in the elevators?

This “work in progress” is absolutely awesome! can’t wait to see how it’s going to be in its final form!

cool adventure! I like it a lot.

A little remark, though: I think it’d be better to include your introduction text (“It has been raining for two weeks non-stop. The locals say that the Pho Iva…”) in the PDF file. Today, I remember what’s the situation, but in a few weeks/months time, if I’m opening the PDF, I’m almost sure that I won’t know about the two-week rain. What do you think?

I think you published this game under the wrong category. “Physical games” are meant to be tabletop board games, or roleplaying-games, rather than video games.

this needs to be sold as a physical game.

My pleasure!

leveraging the implicit permissions granted by the CC-BY Licence, I’ve just published a French translation of Pulka!

Thank you, Oz for this great game!

I’m just wondering: is it a solo game? is it a standalone game? can this be used with a group of adventurers?

Hello. Very interesting take! Just a quick question: why is this game filed in the “Book” category? Wouldn’t it be more accurate to put it into the Physical Games section?

I wanna rate this 6 stars.

had about 30mn to play my first game. I had a great time ; visited 4 places, went into a Cave and already had my first Advance after a successful fight against a Spook.

Can’t wait to have more time to continue this adventure!

Strange… I’ve tried to buy this game, and there was a “Paypal error” on the itch.io pop-up, before the checkout.

Failed to create PayPal payment (422)

Do you have any idea of what could have happened?

ok, I see. Thanks for your clarification.

Maybe I’m wrong, but… don’t we miss the skill provided for the members of the Krugg clan?

Eh bien, longue vie aux Ghostbusters !

Loin de moi l’idée de décourager l’initiative, mais… Est-ce légal ?

Bravo Louis-Philippe ! Et mille mercis !

That would be very interesting, but I’m afraid I don’t have enough designer skills… do you think it’d “just” (hum hum) be as simple as: create a duplicate of the English GDoc template, copy-paste the French text, adjust the margins etc (French text is often 20% longer) and export as PDF? (I may dream a bit, here)

For this Dash Jam, I’ve started a translation into French of Dash.

I’m using the Fari-RPG Github repository, because I know how to ; so you can also make a Pull Request like mine ; but if you don’t know how to use git or github, you could still download the current text-only (Markdown) version of Dash, and start to translate in the language you want!

just a quick note: your game is in the “Games” category, while it should rather be in the “Physical games”.
