OH! This happened to me but at the end game with my harvested running away physics defying red sphere. I'm so hungry yet its so far away and doesn't get closer to my starvation. Fun as HECK though!!

Same happened to me with the E button, could be that I didnt empty the flowers in the trash or something? But its not too intuitive.
