Weird - there isn’t any overlap with the itch page for me (I don’t think I could even solve that xd)

Glad you found it :)

Lots of praise for the apple - great character xd

I think your point about difficulty is totally valid, but I didn’t want the game to get too long since its a game jam. There are 3 types of snakes in the end - the 3rd appearing around the 150s mark

A timer is displayed in the top-right corner, maybe you didn’t notice? I love the idea of some sort of riskiness bonus

Thank you so much!

I didn’t have time for a proper menu system… but your feedback means a lot :)

The bouncing apple, I’ll admit, was fun to make

Hey - where did the download go for this game? I can’t find it on the itch page

Hu - might be a browser thing? I know my game is not that well optimised, but it ran totally fine for me (on a normal laptop)

I probably should have done some linux/windows exports just-in-case

All I can suggest is trying a different browser if you want to play it without lag? I was testing with brave/firefox

The snakes do actually slightly follow you. If you manage to get to the 150 mark - the blue variant of snakes will spawn, which follow you a lot

Thanks for the feedback :)

Very valid feedback, I ran out of time for level creation so I did just throw stuff together

The balls can be used to hit the enemies out of the way, but the enemies didn’t do much - so you might not have noticed. Maybe a delay between being hit by/hitting an enemy and the balls destroyed would help with them being more shieldy…

Thanks for the comment

Wow, thanks for the heavy praise. I only had time to make 3 levels, level 4 was really just a way of saying its done 😅😁.

I am not too confident with sound (or graphics or level design 😜), so I often forget to do it. Thanks for pointing it out 👍

Didn’t seem to render properly under wine (linux), the main blocks were missing (it may be possible to get working with a little more tweaking) - sorry I couldn’t rate

Looks nice from the screenshots

The game looks amazing, but I found it quite hard (highscore 5). Its a nice concept - and would be great fleshed with potentially 2 player.

Nice job for under 3 hours!

Wow, really amazing game. Nice job :D

Really fun. Took a small bit of time to get running on linux, but looks really nice and is fun to play. Well done!

Thanks for the kind words :D. I can agree with you on there being no start. I would have liked to add a start menu and better explanation/context, however I was in a rush to finish (5 hours late) so I changed my aim to a functional game.

Thanks again for the feedback!

Whoops, sorry. I messed up the linux upload too (need .pck file too). I have fixed it. Sorry to those who tried to play on linux

Fair feedback. I considered the jump-through feature but I had no clue how to implement it. The random slow downs are from the special platforms - meaning you live longer (the timer does goes up double at half speed). A lifetime is 60 seconds - you are trying to make it more than that (hence timer in lifetimes)

Thanks for your help :D

Fixed. Please try downloading again - its now a zip containing the exe and pck (and I have now tested the windows version with wine)

Ah, do I need to upload both the exe and .pck? I only tested the linux version

Sorry for being so late... This was my first ever game jam - and I am not good at time management (yet). I understand if I am too late to participate
