So sweet... At first I intended to try this jam too but I'm glad I missed it. Coming to this, taking it all in as my introduction to the theme, with a fresh look - this is lovely!

These are exactly the kind of characters I'm so curious about I can't tell if I want to learn more about them or keep them in this vignette and relish that curious feeling forever. (In other words this is lovely. Also yesss another weird engine to try out)
I keep thinking about this... I guess sometimes intentionally bad is just unconventionally good!
The room transitions are so nice, each glimpse of another scene brought me so much joy :> Also I mean I just love games and talking about games and making connections between the games I love (Citizen Sleeper!) so of course I love this it does it beautifully. Good luck with your projects!
Oh! I was wondering why specifically checking the empty vending machine repeatedly made the walls disappear, I hadn't realized just walking did it too.
(Anyway this is nice! I like the dialogue counter, replaying to discover steps I might have skipped. Also I have to salute the effort to make a hack just for this haha)
(Had the pacing been much slower and a bit different I would have suggested imagining Do You Know How To Waltz by Low as an alternate soundtrack... Oh well you can still imagine. Make connections. Or others)
The bitsymuse ui tool didn't work for me either when I tried, and I've seen other reports of that - it does add the hack's code to your project but doesn't insert the music files. I ended up just following the instructions in the hack's code and editing the music in myself. Otherwise according to this topic it seems borksy could also be an option!
Hi hello! I'm CandleSign - not exactly a gamedev or anything, even if I like to imagine projects I haven't officially released anything before, but I just really love coding (so much that I almost never use premade drag-and-drop/point-and-click engines but bitsy is lovely) and making music. I also love art in general (and in particular games and music which, yeah, checks out haha).
I'm not sure how much time I'll spend doing bitsy stuff but now that I've gotten dragged into the jam (shoot! I was supposed to be busy!) I'm growing quite fond of the whole thing. Also I initially learnt about it from Pol Clarissou's moss as texture as space folding onto itself (lovely game! check it out!) but have found a few more I really like so I'll keep exploring. I can't wait to see what you all have made :>
