Announcing the page is now live to join for Phantasia Jam! 

Phantasia Jam is a three month fantasy themed jam for visual novels, interactive fiction and narrative stories running August 1st to October 31st.

This is our third yeah of hosting this jam and we can't wait to see what incredible stories come to life during it.

As long as I've been on itch, and as many projects as I've been part of, there's still so much I haven't seen before on the site! I've never ventured into the itchio forums before. 

This one's a little different though, you see, this one is my very first full game released for sale! 

Moonflower has been out for a month now (a whole month!) and it's been a long 6 months of sleepless weeks to develop it.

A 56,000 word visual novel Moonflower features two things very close to my heart. Fantasy with a steampunk flair, and a catboy. 

My first time dealing with a minigame as well! I've learned so much on this game and I'd love to be able to reach more eyes on itch. We built a drag and drop alchemy mini game that produces different results depending on the ingredients combined, those result then in turn trigger differ scenes later on in the game! 

Our little game had a goal of 30,000 words and ended up 56,000 words, with multiple endings, POV switches, interaction and a narrative of soul mates. (Also a free demo)

Yes, the full game will be 24.99usd once released. 

This demo was made for a game jam but our focus is our main game The Inn Between.

Heart Agency will require it's own Kickstarter for full development but we're unable to do that until we've released TIB 

So no release details at this time, but we can say not for a while yet!

No public updates on the game at this time but we show a lot on our Kickstarter and Patreon with our progress! 

Our release is expected towards the end 2023 

stock, purchased assets and creative commons assets are totally ok, as long as the usage rights are observed.  

stock / pre-made public assets are something every team has the same ability to acquire, unlike custom assets so there's no restriction on their use. 

customs simply have to be made within the jam period as they're unique to that team.

There's also no restriction on play format, the vast majority of entries with be desktop downloadable games, but browser games are also welcome.

No choice from the player unfortunately, scene will play out in a set way. For Emrys there will be a switch between scenes so there will be at least one scene he tops and one scene he bottoms in.

Yeah, we definitely love to see Let's Plays and dont want anyone to be prevented from doing them or have their videos blocked! 

We have been focusing on our main game The Inn Between but have lots of plans for additional content and updates to what we were able to do during Yaoi Jam for Heart Agency!

Sadly while the current music was obtained via a license model the content ID is automatic.

I want to tell you to play the demo but I also totally get it, until I started doing YouTube lets plays I wouldn't play demos in case I liked a game and then had to wait.   

2023 does sound far away but I can guarantee that it'll be here before we know it! Which is actually kind of scary as the dev. 

Theres a lot to do though and we wanted to make sure we gave our team ample time to get things completed without pushing them too hard. 

As important as it is to us to get our game out as quickly as we can, our teams health and wellbeing will always be top priority. 

If you haven't checked out our Kickstarter you should! It's a great way to get the game at a discounted price plus other great merch items!
