Honestly a pretty cool game. It has a very nice aesthetic and message. Also the Linux build worked perfectly for me.

I liked the idea of removing jump. It really changed things up, however I don't think it was as much fun as the rest of the game because I ended up just holding right and pressing E before I crashed into anything. I think that part could have improved if you were forced to change direction after every drop. Other than that the jump itself could be improved by having tapping the button carry the player lower than holding it down. Great idea and game on the whole though.

One of favorite games so far! Very fun and well designed. Honestly the only criticism I have is that adding a checkpoint system would make it more enjoyable rather than restarting the whole level after dying at the end.

I wondered about how the platforms would work myself. The weird hitbox effect is actually because I tried to add 1 frame of coyote time to make it a bit easier, but I guess the low frame rate and resolution just made it feel awkward in the end.

I totally agree for a lot of that. It was good learning for me on the code side because I made it from scratch, but it really suffers as an actual game. I intend to do some post jam work on it later.

Yeah it needs some work, and more importantly I think I need to improve my design skills.

Wow, good job on actually beating it. You're the first person I know besides me to actually finish it. My brother told me it was way too hard for anyone else. Also, he's the one to thank for that awesome music.

Thanks for checking it out. It was quite a bit of fun doing a jam.

Thanks! It was a fun challenge. Definitely gonna do more low res style games soon.

I don't typically go for horror themed games, but this was honestly pretty amazing!

This was really cool! Great work.

This was my first full day of the jam, and I'm pretty proud of what I have done so far. Most of the main game play and structure is there which includes: Controlling the firework, collisions with obstacles, a pretty background, cool sparks, sort of a first level, and the main gimmick, moving in a straight line for long enough gives you the ability to smash through obstacles temporarily.
