i've been writing these guys for years i need a break....maybe a return in the future when im better at writing 😭

My point still stands on AI, even if you use it as a search engine. Finding it organically or doing your own research is more rewarding. It'll lie to you if it doesn't know the answer, and it'll feed you blatantly false information if it doesn't know.

May the surreal continue to boggle the mind, and may the gods smile when my teeth are stained black with bile.

i think you are asking for a lot of logic in both a genre and an artistic world that asks for a suspension of disbelief as they invite you into their surreal timelines. logic doesn't need to apply everywhere you go. things are weird to be weird.

and please stop feeding every question you have or recommendation you need into an AI. not only do artists extremely dislike their work being fed to a machine, even for recommendations, but there's more satisfaction in finding something organically than being told what to do.

reading a lot of your reviews and seeing how unhappy you are with almost all of them. there's a difference between giving critique and being critical. calling everything about a game stupid or that you don't get it doesn't help an author. instead, you should be asking questions or drawing the lines. critique is about helping the author realize their vision, not asking the author to rewrite their work to fit your desires.

and as an aside, saying "at least your MC isn't stupid" is pretty backhanded. not that i care but wanted to say.

i started making games because i hated a game i played so much that it made me pick up writing. you seem to dislike or have very harsh words about every game you're reviewing on itch.io right now. if you don't like these games and want someone to cater to your tastes, pick up the keyboard and download ren'py.

sorgy

it's bc it's just a demo but tbh this isn't ever getting finished so

this is so wonderful! thank you so much for the mention!!

ahhh i had no clue that i was featured in choicebeat #12, nonetheless didn't know it was back! thank you so much!

decker is super fun, you can make small little things (like this!) or you can make some really badass, complex shit.

HUH! that's so weird! thank you for letting us know! glad it got fixed :D

i'd recommend unzipping!

also once you meet the red character, you should be able to go up the stairs in the main room :) leave the side area and go up!

Ahh thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I lov ur model!!!! .:}

Think of them as digital books with pictures. They usually have more mature themes and have the interactive element of different choices. It's a wonderful genre full of some of the best stories in fiction, like Umineko and Higurashi! <3

that's because it's a visual novel! ❤️❤️❤️

I think this is perfectly fine!

Interpret the theme how you desire.

yeah do u like his jammies

i really liked this! a really cool sort of tech demo for a really fun mechanic. you did a great job.

Nothing better than a glass of #Wine...🍷Except Maybe #OmegaSlick 😄#Yep #ImGay 🌈

I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU GUYS!!!

i say yes! a lot of rpgs have strong VN elements. ❤️

feel free!

Terrence is made by one of my buddies! I want to kill him over it every time he brings it up. It has now a cult following of fanart and fans. I don't understand. I want to run this game over with a Tesco truck.

door/10, i got to buck my hips against some nice morning wood.

I'll allow it! <3

Hey! Per the spirit of visual novels, we'll require images to be used. If you want to submit something that's text-only, we might recommend you do the REALLY BAD IF jam that's going on right now for interactive fiction!

GUARDS, KILL THIS GUY

truly one of the games ever made.

I link the discord for the collective that's hosting it in the jam description!

Hello! Stock images are good to use (Pixabay, Unsplash, etc), since you know the rights for use of the image. Do NOT use images you just picked off of Google, since you do not know the rights of those images or the person who made them. Do not use images that you do not have explicit permission for.

Using randomly generated words and prompts is completely OK! Generators are not AI, they are a tool to help authors!

part of it is allowing yourself to make mistakes. no drafts, no erasing, just...do it!

have a shower thought. make that shower thought a reality. put yourself in the headspace of yourself as a ten year old. how would you make a game at the age of ten? that's part of how i do it!

epic

this was oddly melancholic but very, very nice. i quite enjoyed this one!

despite it being so short, i LOVED the chemistry and banter between these two characters! this was great.

will not lie the variation in drawings is because i was Lazy[tm]! there's 6-7 expressions for each of them but eh. [throws up violently on the floor]. definitely need to get out of my pit of being lazy. i do have potential plans to add more endings or impact, so i do understand the nitpicks and everything! :D no worries whatsoever buddy.

i've only played kitty's hornets, which i really liked. very good piece though! i think my main inspirations are somehow the movie event horizon? and the weird vibes of horror tumblr in the mid 2010s. thank you for playing! i do appreciate the feedback, and i'm glad it was a good experience :3

THANK YOU CONNIE <3 mwah!!!

hey! thanks for being interested in streaming! ive been told a playthrough takes about 30 - 45 min. if you do all the endings, it may be a little over an hour!

If you made a Russian translation, please message me about it on Discord! I'm catsket
