Thanks for the feedback! I added you to a thank you page. I realized that the things I left up to narrative freedom are some things you pointed out that felt more like an afterthought.  I wonder if this is a blindspot of this originally being an idea for a novel that I decided to make a game instead. I definitely will keep working on this and pushing out updates. Do you think having someone run it as a GM independently of me running it is a stronger playtesting method?

Thanks! I'm someone who struggles sometimes to figure out new systems but Breathless was easy to understand and I really appreciated that. I looked at a bunch of systems and the mechanics didn't quite fit the narrative goals but when I read yours I was like OK this is a great match. 

I finally finished my first ttrpg ever! I needed to get it laid out and edited a bit. It has been an idea I've had for yeeeears that was originally going to be a novel but I decided to make it a game instead. Finding structure was the hardest part. I ended up using the Breathless SRD as a base which pushed me to get something on the page and then it started building from there. 

Thank you for making the Breathless SRD. I was finally able to create my first TTRPG using this system as a base!
