I've got to say, I'm really happy with how this is turning out. I just hope it can end well too. :D

I understand why the NSFW would have to take a backseat for now. Let's just hope our bois take the time to heal. ;-;

Baxter...you have a LOT of groveling to do. >:(  

I think both sides were in the wrong in this instance. While unintentional, what Baxter did was a painful reminder of what Mylo himself had with Jakob...feeling like he's not his loved one's priority or that he was not enough for someone, which was only worsened with his inferiority complex in regards to Emma. Basically, Baxter has to learn to communicate with Mylo better. 

Mylo, having experienced Jakob's gaslighting and guilt-tripping...it makes sense why he's further folding into his shell, trying to protect himself until the bitter end. Still, he should have at least let Baxter explain his side of the story before thinking of whether or not to give him a chance. Then again, having a manipulative douche for an ex would understandably make him skittish around even the most genuine of confessions.

Overall, an amazing chapter filled with heartbreak and angst! Here's hoping that Mylo learns that he can't let his past mistakes with Jakob dictate his future with Baxter.  

And with Baxter learning that he needs to be more considerate of Mylo's emotions, considering his sordid past relationship with Jakob and feeling like he doesn't have much to offer anyone who he does let in.
