Thanks for playing! I'm not sure of anyone else reaching the boss so good job! And good point, I just finished adding that and will update the page shortly.

Really fun! I genuinely wanted to get to the end even after dying quite a few times.

RIP grandpa

really nice! really like the plant one

Yeah this version could be way better.  It was back when I was brand new to the OUYA and made it during a jam.  I could possibly make a new version for the jam that's about to start

such a good idea and implementation

This is awesome.  Is it possible to get a random face from the command line?  For instance, if I wanted to get a face from another program.

TY! Glad you liked it. Hopefully I’ll be able to actually submit next time

Really cool, like Barotrauma.  I love any moving physics 2D platformer mechanic

Really cool game.  I did not understanding the ending at all but still had fun fishing!

okay thx!

As long as the canvas is 64x64, can things like text be displayed on top of the canvas?  It's a lot easier to draw text and buttons using HTML but I was wondering if that is against the rules.  thx!

That's great haha.  I think this game is missing the hostile environment found at the lower levels of the original game.  Also the boss battle and story elements.

TBH I haven't touched this game since I released it on here.   I'm not sure why it's had such a surge of views recently but it's making me want to get the project going again and at least add some of the features people are suggesting.  Hopefully I can do that soon!

Yeah I went ahead and ordered one actually lol.  I'm just hoping there will be more Ouya jams in the future.  Not to mention I have no idea how to develop android apps.

I was wondering this too. I doubt I could have one delivered in time to participate

It has some nice graphics and I liked how difficult it was.  It would be nice to have a bit of sound but overall very good.

edit: Sound works great!  issue was on my end

yeah... in hindsight I would've liked to incorporate it much more.  But thanks!  I agree on the UI side too, that's another area that I would have loved to of spent more time on.

The music and concept were really cool!  It also used the theme well.  It reminded me a lot of the game Geometry wars which was really fun.   I think it could have used a bit more sound effects/polish but I understand it was in 3 days so not really a big deal.

Thanks!

Does this need to be a standalone game executable or can it be Web based?  Are all game engines supported?  Windows or Mac?  Sorry if this is posted somewhere I couldn't find any info.

Edit: Well it says it needs to come from a .zip so I'm assuming executable but I wonder about Windows vs. Mac

I can't wait to play this later.  Is this based on Einhander at all?  I really love the style.  Keep it up!
