The “secret” second game mode was a nice surprise. I was trying to fill the empty spaces for the longest time.

The use of color in this story was great. I also noticed that all of the people that we meet are students from this class. The story was grounded in our reality as Meiji University staff and students, so I’m sure that many other students will recognise the places you mentioned. The use of Meidai tea was hilarious, as were the sour sweets..!
I like how there are so many ways to get the “Game Over” screen in this story. It shows how easy it is for us humans to ruin everything. As @manonamora mentioned, the game reminds me of “Don’t Look Up.” If you have not seen this movie, I recommend that you watch it as it has similar themes to your story.
Well, this is absolutely incredible. All made in Twine? 🤯🤯🤯
As the teacher of this class, I’d love to learn even 10% of the tricks you have done with Twine here.
The story is great. Real “The Martian” or “Project Hail Mary” vibes throughout. The use of multimedia, choices, interface, etc. all absolutely spot on.
Thank you for considering entering our little game jam, and I hope to learn more from you in future episodes <3

May I ask: did you make this game using this tool only? https://aloelazoe.itch.io/bitsy-3d
I’m really impressed and would like to give it a go myself!
That was great! The colours were really good, and the story fits the theme perfectly. I like how you incorporated typical nightmares and dreams into the main characters waking day. They are clearly very creative in their thinking, so I really do wonder what dreams they will have at night. I hope they have good dreams :)
What. on. earth. is. this? I’ve never seen bitsy in 3d before. It’s amazing! I loved the theme, the palette and the story. Really well executed (though I do not know what the meaning of the control room was… was it a metaphor for the SLEEPY BOI’s brain? 🤔)
Thank you for opening my eyes to the world of Bitsy 3D!
