Do you still need help with it? I think I figured it out

Thank you! I'm sure I'll get it some day...

Laser Guy (Harold) - Speedrun.com :3

Was playing the browser version. Happy to help!

The watermelon plush is a bit... blurry? (ps I love love love this game just been collecting plushes and noticed it)

Gosh ten seconds in this is already EXACTLY what I needed in my life

Ok so you need to make a planter (clay pot (clay + fire) + plant(dirt + water)) and then add water to the planter. Hope this helps!

Hahaha just bet the game twice just to see all the hats... Worth it.

trying so hard to get the True Hero ending but can't find it 😭😭😭😭 I've found the cheat button but can't figure out how to use itttttt

Ok, now I"M looking for a secret ending! Hmmm no luck so far but I'm sure I can figure it out! (says the person who is terrible at figuring it out)

Hahaha I did it!!!!

Hello, hello! You can call me Nogard, and I'm looking for any sprite artists, background artists, and GUI artists to join our team! The game, The Heroic Quest of Sir Heroism McHero,  is a commentary on the nature of fairytales, containing themes of choices & consequences, destiny and storytelling. It also contains LGBTQ+ romance, a good load of wacky humour, a pinch of meta horror and death. Please feel free to message me via this post or @ChaoticGoodThief666 if you're interested on coming along for the ride or would like more information!

This will be a demo version for a much bigger game we have planned. Everyone involved will be invited to return to work on the full version, which I hope to sell on whatever platforms I can. Percentage of profit is still to be determined.

me too

Oh, thank you so much! I'm so glad the storytelling shone through the graphic design! I definately realise the controls were a bit screwy post-jam, but am glad you believed it worked! I'm not sure if I can finish up my exams in time for the Cutscene Jam, but really hope so because that sounds like it would be a lot of fun to participate in! Thanks again for playing and I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you, I'm really glad that you enjoyed the chaotic placement of the controls and the balance between game lenght and control difficulty. I'm really glad you liked the bird ending! It was one of my favourites to code!

Oh, I didn't know that was what the jam was for! I'm so sorry I just had an idea when seeing the title of the jam and rolled with it I hope this didn't offend you! Apologies again and I would be happy to change the game as soon as I find time if that would make things better!

Why does everyone kill the bird, I ask myself who made an ending where you can kill an innocent bird /lighthearted. Agreed, RIP that one poor bird.

How dare you, you monster! /joking

No problem! Thank you so much for telling me about this and I'm so glad you enjoyed the full version of the game!

Ok, I think I fixed what was causing the problem. Hope you enjoy and please tell me if you experience any other difficulties :D

Ok, I think I can still figure out what might be the issue. I'll upload the new version whenever it's done and I hope that'll make things work better

The second spikes? Ok, this is really weird then, because I've run the program through several times and honestly am unable to tell how to fix what you are experiencing. I think it may be a problem with the placing of the sprite I coded to allow you to continue. I could try see if I could rewrite the code to fix it. It might take a bit, but there's still time before the jam ends to I'll get to work on it as soon as possible!

Ok, thank you. I designed it to be a bit unusual so I'm glad you like it.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking about, sorry. Could you please specify what you mean?

Great job on figuring out the controls! Unfortunately, I can't seem to replicate the glitch you've experienced with the spikes in my coding platform or on this version. I'm really sorry that you've run into this issue and I hope to find out what is causing this soon. Thank you for playing and I hope that you will be able to see the full game once this has been resolved.

Ok, that should be fixed now. Thank you so much for playing and telling me about these issues! I hope you enjoyed my game. As you may be able to tell, I'm not exactly a professional, so I really apreciate it!

Thank you for your comment! I'll be sure to try fix as many glitches as I can. I was sure I made sure all the endings worked before posting this game...

This is such an amazing game! I love the narration! One slight problem I keep having (may just be my laggy computer but still) is that the narration often doesn't come when I reach a certain object (eg, the fallen tree, the flowers, the wolf after the ears part)

edit: yep, just laggy all good

Hello! I'm Nogard and I'm looking for a second artist to assist in making my game as it has developed beyond expectation! Please email me at cheesyninja4ever@gmail.com or respond in the comments if you are interested! I'm open to most art styles and would love to add someone new to my team!

Ok, thank you so much for making that clear! That makes things a lot easier! :)

Are we allowed to add words outside of the game (other than the title of course), like the usual description and stuff? Or is that not allowed? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I just want to be sure that I get this right.

I'm very sorry, but I think I should have everyone I need for my game. I'm going to see how to close this thread as to not create any more confusion. I hope we may meet again someday.

Yes please! That way I can talk in more detail about the game and share the draft script!

Yes, I still need one! That would be amazing! I have a discord and can add you to my direct messages and the group. Do you have gmail too?

Wow, I just finished all 5 endings and it was SO VERY WORTH IT!!!! The different analysis of each character, their personality shining through which choices you make to get their ending. Wow. I just.... wow.

Hi! I am still looking for an artist and your art style looks amazing! It would be a pleasure to have you on the team! Do you mind sharing your email or emailing me so that I can share with you my draft script so that you get an idea of what I'm planning for the game? Overall, it's a pretty rought draft so I'm really flexible with whatever look you would feel best suits the characters and setting. If another method of communication is easier for you then feel free to tell me!

Thank you for telling me. It's really no problem. I also hope to meet you again some time in the future. Thank you for your time.

Hello! You can call me Nogard and I'm looking for someone with coding experience on any game able to support a visual novel and someone able to draw characters and backgrounds. I already have a idea of what I wish to create for the game and can explain it in futher detail to see if it interests you!

My contact email is cheesyninja4ever@gmail.com

Hi Alv! I'm a rookie game developing who's been hoping to find somebody with more advanced coding ability than me to help with my vision for this game jam. I have a strong idea on what I hope to create, but don't have any experience with the better coding platforms and could use your help. Would it be alright to talk in more detail about if a team-up would work for you?
