Storytelling is strong here even with such minimal graphics. The controls are awkward though but simple enough to make it through successfully. I will be sad if you don't enter Cutscene Jam
Oh, thank you so much! I'm so glad the storytelling shone through the graphic design! I definately realise the controls were a bit screwy post-jam, but am glad you believed it worked! I'm not sure if I can finish up my exams in time for the Cutscene Jam, but really hope so because that sounds like it would be a lot of fun to participate in! Thanks again for playing and I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
You were right—I figured it out
This game made me giggle several times. The idea of scrambling the controls is pretty good (and the game is short enough that the confusing controls don't overstay their welcome), and the duck ending was very funny to me (both me and a friend got the duck ending immediately).
Thank you, I'm really glad that you enjoyed the chaotic placement of the controls and the balance between game lenght and control difficulty. I'm really glad you liked the bird ending! It was one of my favourites to code!
I feel like, despite not technically violating the rules, the game goes against the spirit of the jam by being easier to figure out for English speakers.
Oh, I didn't know that was what the jam was for! I'm so sorry I just had an idea when seeing the title of the jam and rolled with it I hope this didn't offend you! Apologies again and I would be happy to change the game as soon as I find time if that would make things better!
I love the fact that u try to tell a story but the controls are really hard to understand if u don't know English and what is "Jump" or "Enter" and all this thing.
Interesting game a bit confusing. Controls mapping are horrible but why not.
