Thank you!!!
I'm really glad that you enjoyed the dynamic between Chris and Vlad, tbh writing scenes with them together is a bunch of fun. ;v; I'm sure glad you enjoyed the demo, I hope when the full release comes out that it's enjoyable as well!!

Hello GanguEevee, thank you for the question. What counts as animal cruelty would be if the character is attacking innocent animals that aren’t harming anyone but the character attacks them and hurts them just because of the fun of it. A combat game is fine, there are cute animal games with combat mechanics and they aren’t animal cruelty. Mostly the game shouldn't promote harming animals as fun like a good thing since it’s not. Like if it’s a rpg combat game like Pokémon where cute animals fight, it’s alright since it doesn’t promote animal cruelty. (;w; well I think Pokémon is a cute wholesome game with no cruelty, I hope this example makes sense. Just don’t do something like that Pokémon rip off game that PETA made since that shows blood and is actually more of a cruelty game even though it’s trying to say Pokémon is all that stuff when Pokémon never showed blood or having the Pokémon look in pain ;D sorry for my random peta talk, just that game does more harm than good in my opinion ) ;w; hope these examples help.
ÓvÒ I hope this makes sense, if you still have a question feel free to ask. I hope you and your sister have a wonderful day.
Since this jam is about to start soon, I thought it would be nice that everyone can get to know each other.
^^b Its's always nice to talk about yourself since self promoting is a good thing. There's no right or wrong way to write a introduction, just write it in a way that makes you happy.
\(★^∀^★)/ I'll start this little introduction train off first.
Hello everyone, I'm Choko. I'm an indie game developer though it's more of a side hobby but it would be cool to make it a career. I normally tend to use the RPG Maker engines mostly VX Ace, I am trying to learn how to use Game Maker Studio though still slowly learning it.
I created this jam since I was trying to find a jam to join since I got burn from a game I was working on but I couldn't find one so I thought I'll just make rules to myself though a friend of mine was like "You can make this into a jam" and they were right since it would be cool to have a little jam to help others who wanted to find something to push them to make something.
( 〃..) I am joining the jam as I host, I did plan out the game I'm going to make, I'm thinking of putting all my devlogs on my twitter. I'm really temped to use Game Maker Studio for the game as a challenge and the game is just going to be a prototype project though part of me wants to make it in RPG Maker 2003, time will tell to see where that goes. For other extra things I'm currently listening to the Wii shop channel and the last game I played was NieR: Automata. (ง •̀ω•́)ง✧ I hope this jam will be fun for everyone.

Hello Linnaine! The Space Bunny jam is a jam that deals with creating a game. I would say you could use the crowforge page that this jam has to look for a team. Someone who can code so you can do the art. https://crowdforge.io/jams/spacebunnyjam
Or you can use a simple engine which doesn't need coding which are. RPG Maker there's different types of rpg maker engines, the prices range on these engines though. There's also the Bitsy Engine which is free and is right on Itch.io (https://ledoux.itch.io/bitsy).
Hopefully if I plan this jam next year, I'll add in that comics and art is allowed, though this years Space Bunny Jam is about creating games. I hope this answers your question, I do hope you have a nice day.
Hello GanguEevee, the entire game doesn't have to take place in space.
Space can just be something beyond earth. The game could take place in a rocket ship or on a planet way different from earth.
Or maybe it takes place on earth though a meteor is going to crash onto earth destroying the planet, so they send up a bunny to save the day.
The game just has to have something space like but it doesn't have to be in outer space. I hope that makes sense.
Thank you for asking this question and I hope you have a wonderful day.
Hello Bobnibu! You are allowed to describe a bunny since you are using Twine which is a text base engine (from what I recall). It's perfectly a-okay for the game. Since I don't want to make it so that you have a hard time creating the game since adding a image in twine is tricky. (I haven't use twine before so I'm not sure how adding images works)
In a nutshell: Text adventure games are perfectly fine for this jam as long as the bunny is described. Since images aren't the only way you can show something in a game.
I hope this answers your question, and thank you for asking this question.
Hello Katie E, you are 100% allowed to expand on your game that you will be making for the jam. Game jams are just a helping hand to give ideas to someone so they can create a game. For example Oneshot a rpg maker game was created for a jam and was later expand on and is a commercial game. Also like Pixality said it's your content! So you have the final say of what you are going to do with it.
^^b I do hope you have a fun time in this jam btw.

This is where all news about the jam will be shown.
There are two major announcements which are that the jam now has a crowforge which is here:
https://crowdforge.io/jams/spacebunnyjam
I do hope it will help with anyone who is trying to create teams for the jam.
The 2nd announcements is that you are allowed to use the community area to have devlogs or you just want to show off what you created so far., just wanted to announcement this since I didn't mention it on the jam page.
^^b Thank you all of you who join the jam so far, make sure you all take it easy and have a wonderful day.
Also I'll leave this board open if anyone has question, since everyone will see it easily.

Thank you for writing this comment KyleWashington.
Tbh, if they wrote critiques or feedback which I should improve on the next game it would have been helpful. I actually had no clue how to reply hearing the game is stupid.
I could understand how the plot makes no sense since how the character who seems to be trying to kill you isn't trying to kill you. The Game is a random short game I put out, though hearing feedback would have helped more. I did take some personal notes on what to do for my next projects, like don't get burn out. Since I cut this game down in size a lot and the ending was changed.
Hopefully if I make a sequel to this game, I can fix some of the errors I made in this game.
Hello Dro Hoshi,
I'm one of the mods for the Pixel horror jam 2. I'm writting a commentI just have a quick question about your game. I'm just wondering is this a horror game, I'm just wondering since there no labels that says this a horror. Like in the tags horror isn't one of the tags.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you have a nice day.
Sincerely,
Choko
