I've noticed that that there were some patterns during the jam that I decided to mark with these little awards just for fun. They're not meant to be taken very seriously.

Also initially these were supposed to be part of the review I left in the rating system, but Itch.io did not like that at all.

Cute coffee date 🐺☕️❤️ – it's a game where the wolf takes the protagonist on a date! The fanciest one of the jam. Followed by...

Date escape 🐺☕️👋– Surprisingly booking dates and then booking it on dates is not an isolated instance!

Burning in Hell for Marvel quips 🔥🤓🔥– A harsh but fair award for having a character spout a Whedonesque zinger.

HIS WHOLE PUSSY OUT 🐲🐈– Getting flashbanged by derg pussy? More common than you think.

Supporting cast MVP 👥– probably one of the sweetest dragon and manatee characters in the jam, and the competition is pretty tough!

Fashion police 👠✨– Awarded the moment that "life is a beach" shirt appeared on screen, given for being playful with character's outfits.

Also I said I will add these little awards to April showers when I drop the review, but I forgor 💀 After much delay, here they are!

Cute coffee date 🐺☕️❤️ - With the caveat that here we arrange the date while having coffee.

Strong art direction🎨 - I really like how warm everything felt, a lot of choices when it comes to visuals made the game feel so cozy and warm.

Supporting cast MVPs 👥 - Several games made the dragon and the manatee characters be nice and supportive to the main character, and April showers did it in such a sweet, tender way. 

We hardly knew ya 🏃 - For entries where the wolf character felt out of focus, underdeveloped, didn't get much screen time, or got outshone by other characters.

Photoshop is my passion 📸 - awarded for those undies alone

Almost killed a man 🐺🔪💀 - A very powerful award shared with only one other May Wolf 2023 entry.

Made me laugh 🎭 - Written as a comedy (I hope??) and succeed in making me have a big fun time!

Disassociating at Target 🎯 - the psychic damage some of the lines from this made me temporarily leave this plane of existence and go nonverbal. 

So glad to see an update! Such perfect timing too 🎃

Top 5 May Wolves 🌟– Easily one of my favs, and fav slice of life.

Divorce simulator 🏛 – Second only to Facade.

Daytime Dreading fever 😨 – Half of the games that have this award are slice of life, half are horror. Awarded for making me dread what will happen next at moments.

Unique art 🎨 – The only game to redo the sprites provided by Cody. Awarded to any VN which has a custom sprite or illustration.

Kids and their gosh darn phones 📱 – Awarded to any VN with the phone UI visible. I loved the Big Ben contact, the only thing that would make it better was if Xavier made his pic an actual photo of the clock tower lmao.

Pencil on fire gif🔥✍️🔥– Jackson's keyboard must be on fire, he was cooking so hard when writing this.
