Once you get down the movement system and learn how far the dash goes and the mechanics of it, the gameplay is honestly addicting. Despite the bosses not having any indicators showing how damaged they are, which does make it hard to tell how far you're progressing and can be a bit discouraging, I still found myself hooked solely because of the tight controls, since whenever I died it always did feel like I made a mistake rather than the game being unfair. The only exception to this is the final boss, which took me dozens upon dozens of tries to get right, but that's excusable given the rush of gameplay it provides once you realize how best to tackle the fight. I still found myself learning mechanics in the final boss room, which made me realize just how intricate the movement system is, especially due to its direct link with how you approach fights in this game. Overall, incredibly solid game that could be even better with a few minor tweaks.
