I just shuffled some paid music assets as I was playing the game, and remixed samples by Soundtrack Loops. My intent is to make my own music as well but I am currently using paid assets as placeholders as I find it more enjoyable and even inspiring (when compared to no music at all). Although I do tend to turn off the soundtrack when I am troubleshooting somethings as it gets annoying after a while :-)

What style of music do you have in mind for the soundtrack? I played your game with some music on the side and it made a huge difference to the overall experience as it felt a bit too quiet without. The graphics are nice and I really like the level progression along with the tutorials. I would love to see an alternate input for jumping with the keyboard. Have you considered controller support?

Great points from Lushy. I enjoyed your game, the control felt pretty nice and I liked the graphics. I finished the web version and then installed it on Windows to see if the sound effects and music enhanced the experience. I didn't quite like the sound effects at first but they kinda grew on me as I progressed through the levels for a second time. I think more of an upbeat soundtrack would really help the overall feel of the game. Other than that, the level progression felt good, if you are planning on adding levels, it would be great to be introduced to different enemies.

Fun game. I like the graphics, and the controls. It has a good retro vibe which I like.

Cool idea, I like how the shadows were implemented into the game. You already are planning on improving the controls, if you do implement coyote time jump, it might require some adjustments to your level layout, but that is part of the fun of game design ;-)

Not my favorite style for BG music, but promising game. I like the graphics, animations and overall presentation.

Nice game, I like the funky music.

Some typos in the instructions, but with just a bit over 30 minutes left for the submission, it is understandable.

Interesting concept and nice art style.

Cool game, nice presentation.

Nice concept, I like the gameplay. The enemies are often stacking up, not sure if it was a design choice?

Fun game, I like the style, I only wish the spacebar could be used for jumping as I am not very good with the current control scheme.

Quite fun with a controller. This is your first game? Pretty cool.

Cool game, looks promising :-)

Great first effort, additional content would be awesome. Are you planning on adding to it?

Nice, I just gave it a shot, does feel even better on the phone.

Pretty good first game. Fun to play, great job!

Fun retro type game!

Very cool. Nice control scheme and relaxing vibe.

Cool game with interesting jumping mechanics. Would be awesome as a mobile application.

Nice voice over along with the humor makes it for a fun little game, reminds me of the "There Is No Game" title.

Fun game. Love the style, animation, graphics, the way the character reset itself after a fall, and how the power ups are activated. Very cool, I just wish it was a bit longer :-)

Cool game with great potential. Nicely captures the essence of 8-bit gaming.

Fun game, the coins chasing the player reminded me of the ghosts in Mario.

Nice game with great potential. I like the graphics, the overall vibe of the game and the jumping mechanics. Hope so see an update in the future.

Side note; for some reason the audio didn't work for me.

Cool little title with a nice surprise.
