How does you game fit the theme?
Instead of a normal shopping day in her favourite store, a real market, little Karen's day turns into a nightmare as the world around her is no longer what it was,or is it?

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
The assets are from third party creators (Sound and Artwork by Pixel-Boy, AAA and AVGVSTA), the python code was written by the three contributors from scratch

The old school vibe was great and I like the concept! Good job!

Fun little game, wasn't sure if it mattered which weapon I picked up to change the level but it was cool that that happened. Music and art fits well. I died and couldn't figure out how to restart or go back to the main menu though.

either way, great work!

Yeah unfortunately the endscreen and the respawning had a bug that we missed and there wasn't any time left to fix it. Currently the only way to restart is to literaly restart the game.

Cool game with great potential. Nicely captures the essence of 8-bit gaming.

Thank you CMDAB. We are hoping on expanding this little prototype in the future. Feedback of any kind is therefore very welcome.
