Rats, gobbos and neither ability to follow their plans due to bad luck and meddling. This story was my definite favourite in this jam so if you win well done and if not well your story is my winner. I loved all the things going wrong as normal for gobbos and the lack of courage by ratmen when they start to die. The ending was inspired and overall a great story I read twice just to soak it all in. 

I really enjoyed this story so well done for managing in such a short story to convey one persons life of devotion and belief in the angels to his utter feelings of betrayal and loss. Sad story but really well done. 

Great concept but agree that story could be filled out a little to get you drawn in and could be done with just a bit more descriptive lines. But I did enjoy it and I am not a writer so I think it’s great people like yourself have the imagination and courage to write then post your work. Well done

I really enjoyed this as it’s a different viewpoint of the lizardmen and makes you think they aren’t just cold blooded reptilian warriors but have a culture and caring side. Loved it
