Definetly a good use of the theme! Graphics look good, game feels good to play. Nothing bad to say really. Great entry!

Thank you for the kind words! Always nice to hear when people like my music. The respawn points are actually set by your position on the dice before it rolls. So, if you are near the right border, you will also land there after the roll. This was not informed that well, so it might seem like they were set points. I do get the unfairness of spawning in front of enemy line of sight, as we couldn't come up with a fix for this during the jam sadly.
This was certainly an unique mechanic I didn't expect when launching the game! Moving the dice with shooting felt intuitive. Few things i'd like to point out are: music is a bit annoying with that amount of looping and the other thing is that I didn't know if there was a cooldown for the reroll since sometimes it wouldn't let me do it straight away. So maybe have some kind of indicator. Other than that it's a pretty cool entry that has potential to be a fun little game!
Pretty clever idea! I like the mechanic of turning the player into a smaller one with slower speed. Gives it a more "strategic" approach to different dodgeable things. There is a few things to improve on though. The controls feel a bit wonky and unresponsive, and there could be a bit more feedback soundwise. Giving the dodgeable things a different color could help seeing them a bit better!
Good looking pixel art style, really like it! The combat system is also OK, altho maybe giving more items or dice in the beginning would help the RNG deaths. I also feel like more feedback on things would help, maybe sound clues or stuff better shown on screen. When I first rolled the dice I didn't even see it.
There are some bugs. When playing with 1440p monitor the black screen that appears when switching rooms only appears in the middle of the screen. Dying also seems to cause game getting stuck with black screen on middle, and the F button doesn't do anything, which only gets fixed by shutting down the game and launching it again.
Overall a decent entry and I do think there is some potential here for a finished project. By adding sounds and better feedback it will already be a good one!
