This is just a thought to the install/update problem.

Maybe Siren should contact those movie apps devs and get tips on how they do it  as their apps lives outside of Googleplay and would check for updates and download on their own.

The 0.8.4 beta apk installed a new instance instead of installing over the previous version on my Note9.

How do i rename the character on Android?

The inbuilt "keyboard" doesn't have a backspace to delete"Player", and the game don't pop up Android's virtual keyboard.

Also there is no back button once you go into the options menu.
