Thank you for providing such thoughtful feedback! I agree that the quests could have been more complex! While we ran out of time, I think as the team's producer, I could have recommended decreasing it to 2 recipes that were more complex instead of 3 similar ones. I mentioned this is another comment, but I definitely need to research more about JAWS vs. NVDA. We'll definitely continue learning and use all the feedback to create more accessible games!

Thank you so much for the great feedback!! This was all our first time participating in this jam and creating a game focused on blind gamers, so every piece of your feedback is extremely valuable. The point about having sounds indicating walls, doors, and items, completely makes sense and these types of changes will definitely be in future games. I can't speak for the whole team, but I definitely need to research more about JAWS vs. NVDA for the next jam. Thank you again! Excited to create even better and more accessible games moving forward!
Even though Kat already replied, I just wanted to jump in here and genuinely thank you for the well thought out feedback! It means a lot! I laughed at the "mashing the E key" because I was doing the same thing before we even had the interaction label show up. lol An additional reaction through sound and visual is a great idea!
The music, art style, and mechanics all came together so well! Once we hit "best three star apartment," is that the end goal?
If your team continues to work on this, it would be fun to pick which animal we want to house! I agree with one of the other comments too, a mole trying to destroy your homes would be a great idea. Overall, fantastic job!
Wow, wow, wow. This was so good! From the start, hearing the music and sound effects for the text was nostalgic. Then finding Fae, building that trust through the minigame, and then learning she has her own skill with the plants... incredible!
If your team continues to work on this game (which I hope you do!), it could be cool to have a map in the corner showing areas you've already explored. I found myself wandering around the same area at first and getting lost more than I'd like to admit. lol
