I actually really like the journaling part. It's certainly something not particularly touched upon in the games itself, as you're practically never at risk yourself of becoming Hollow. Excited to see how it turns out!

Thanks for getting back to me so quick. Honestly I love the theme of it, and always wanted to play a game like it. Ah I think my confusion was that when I google 'Digital Schematics' I get results for electronic schematics for circuit boards etc. So I thought it was meant to be some Hack/Repair item!
Loved the game so far! Got a couple of questions if that's OK?
1. What do Digital Schematics do? The Engineer has them, but they are not a listed item. Unsure if they confer a bonus.
2. The Technician's job is 'Protect and/or repair Company assets' but this is different on the sample character sheet which says it is to 'Bypass security protocols'.
3. Do characters start with any additional gear, is there an easy way to decide what is balanced? We weren't sure whether only one person having a gun would be an issue for Eurydice.
Ended up playing part-way through the Eurydice campaign, which is a really nice put together campaign. Unfortunately had to cut short due to Discord issues, but retrying again. The game has been great so far and everyone found the system intuitive and creepy.
Hello again. Sorry there isn't a way to DM via itch so this is best I've got. We managed to push our things out over the weekend (somehow)! It was good fun for thanks for putting something like this together. I made a biopunk(?) type of game, and my friends made a cavern-dwelling fantasy and another applied ancient Rome to a sci-fi setting.
One of my friends changed around the dice system. He thought about uploading it to itch but is a bit worried about how to properly credit, or if the changes he has made to the system somehow cause a problem. You can imagine we're all new to this. Would you be able to offer any advice? I'd love to just link them to you but the public nature of the forum isn't great for that haha
Finally finished this after several days of torturing over the puzzles. I normally don't go for math puzzles as they make me feel dumb but this was a really beautiful game so I had to give it a go.
The puzzles certainly scale in difficulty, and I had to refer to the walkthrough on two occasions to find a correct starting position. I think the game might benefit from tips on how you should look to solve these kinds of puzzles as I haven't really come across this before. I often found myself doing some scratching-the-surface level thinking about the puzzle before just attempting to colour change as much as possible! So sometimes the game felt, for me, more trial and error than the thinking I really wanted to do.
Beautiful game though, good calm music, and a joy to play - didn't overstay its welcome either. Congrats!
This was my first time actually doing a solo RPG, and was really impressed here. The game gives you a starting prompt for your diary, and you will draw from a deck of cards which will create further prompts for you. Some of these prompts will have negative/positive impacts leading you to either 'win' or 'lose' (it's not really a win or a loss in the normal sense!). It took around 3-4 hours, and I ended up writing around 2500 words from it. I'm looking forward to trying this one again!
I will say the Tower Block (or Jenga tower!) is actually a really cool mechanic. You CAN play without one, but having done so I think I really missed out on something cool. If you can get your hands on one easy or have the cash spare, or can simulate it, I totally recommend it.
The prompts are super high quality and detailed, but obviously you can be as flexible with the prompts as you want! My invaders were some hell-ish creatures rather than humans.
