Thanks for your question! It's been a while since I looked over the game—which was written with a strict word limit, hence the lack of explanation in some of the instructions—but I believe "trade favor tokens" means to trade your pile of favor tokens with the other players' pile. So, if you have three tokens and they have five, you would swap with them so that you have five and they have three. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for the feedback! I moved the explanation of Soul around so many times that it's possible I took it out and it never made it back in -- I'll check through and update the document to amend that!
