Something to keep in mind is that the book is a sample game. When you finish the game, you will proably have a good idea to the underlying story to it.

Thanks a bunch. It's always great to hear from a fan. There is a story reason for why you get so many skills so soon. I do see how that can be intimidating though. If you've read the book, you'd pick up on some odd things regarding the game. It was purposefully done. 

I will say skills have a variety of use. So, while it can be a bit shocking learning so much at once or so soon, you will find use for everything at some point. 

Thanks for the opinion though. If I do decide to get a new laptop for Unreal Engine, I will definitely be spacing out the skills by a lot.  Unfortunately, that's one issue that I'm not exactly able to fix here due to the story significance. 

Also, I would love to hear other critiques. How long have you been reading my book. How did you hear about my game? Who are your favorite characters and what would you like to see in the future of the story and games?

Great game. 

It's funny with vibes that hit close to That Regulare Show and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. 

It took me 2 hours to beat this game. But it was 2 hours well spent.

Okay, what you shared is slightly different from the Youtube video. But neither fully aligns with the current Android Studio. 

I already did everything up to step 9.

Here is where things differ.

Step 5) doesn't match up exactly. I'm still able to put in the majority of what's shown. But not all of those options are there. 

Step 9) there is no "Sync" option. I've looked everywhere and clicked on random things to find it. I do NOT have that option. 

Step 10) This wasn't in the video, but there is no way for me to change my apk name. In fact, there is no "Manifests" folder.  

They reset the "Step" numbers in that link for some reason.

Step 1) The Icon piece wasn't in the video either. And I haven't tried that either. 

Step 2) When I click on "Build" tab, I don't get a "Build" nor "Build APK" option. I have no clue how I did it before. I clicked stuff there and it happened. But none of them worked for me in any kind of way. 

Thanks. I will try this again when I have the mental patience for it. 

My computer has so many APK files that won't delete because the only tutorial I can find on Youtube is over 5 years old and the creator isn't responsive. 

But to answer your other questions;

I am using RPG Maker MV and trying to upload to Itch.io. 

Later, I will need to upload to the app store. 

In the past; I deploy my games for android and zip it. Then I upload to here as an android game. 

Whenever me or a friend downloads it, and unzips the file, it doesn't work. 

I researched and found a 5 year old video that explains you need "Android Studio". I tried to follow the video, but the Android studio looks nothing alike and I can't find the first instruction. 

So as of right now, I am screwed.

Can somebody tell me a good guide to use or tell me how to do this please? 

I do apolilgize. I'm new to this and there's no real definitive guide to publishing all of this. So I'm trying to figure it out as I go.

I tried it on windows prior and it worked. My android file isn't working though. I do apologize. I will have to figure out what went wrong there.
