Thanks so much for the kind comment! I really appreciate it. Although I don't have plans to finish Employee A in the incarnation given in this demo, I may revisit the story and try to give it a proper end. That might be as a visual novel, it might be as a short story or novella, or it might be something else entirely. Who knows! But seeing that this story is still generating interest does inspire me to revisit it.
Hi there! I think you'll be interested in my short sci Fi VN Lamprey. It's a sci Fi story about four coworkers who become trapped after a failed experiment with an AI. Download free here: https://cross-couloir.itch.io/lamprey
Hi! I'm not sure how interested you are in visual novels, but I recently released a solo developed VN called Lamprey and if you're interested, I'd love to hear your thoughts. It's a sci-fi visual novel about four coworkers who become trapped together after a mishap with an experimental AI. I developed it for the SuNoFes game jam, where it's been one of the most popular and highest rated entries. It only takes about 60-90 minutes to play through - give it a try!

Hey there, you might enjoy my new release Lamprey. It's not horror, but it's definitely got some dark and suspenseful elements.

Thanks for letting me know. I might just make the game free with donations until the full build comes out.
For what it's worth, this seems like it makes the "free demo" feature for paid games kinda not worth it as a pre-release promotional tool. My plan was to use my demo as a way to gather interest before the release, and I can still do that, but it's unfortunate that using the "free demo" feature won't really work for that.
Hello,
My game Employee A is not showing in Itch browse or search results - it can only be seen by direct navigation. I have heard that sometimes it can take some time for games with a minimum price to be approved by an admin, but I have had free demo files available for 72 hours now and the status of the game's search indexing has not changed. I've emailed itch support over this several times with no response yet.
Will I just need to mark the game as free until the full non-demo builds of the game are ready? Do I need to mark the game as "released" even though only the demo is currently available?
