Been a while, so I felt like sharing an experience I've had a lot with the designer. Most of the designs I end up making are incredibly heavy due to the barrel being rather heavy, specifically to counter being deformed from the pressure. Despite that I still get bad muzzle velocity at times. This happened to others?

EDIT: As of the update, with things like the barrel visualizer, I've figured out the issue.

Brief suggestions for the future update

1. Incendiary fillings, alongside visual representation for fillings in shells!

2. Optics , binoculars and rangefinders for loadout options.

3. Proper shotgun rounds, as right now they functionally have no difference from normal cartridges beyond a label.

Ah, makes sense. Was sort-of expecting telescopes, binoculars and the like to fall into equipment/utility gear. Such as rangefinding equipment?

so what exactly does the Light Receiver refer to? Since I'm not sure that you would need any specialised equipment beyond possibly writing implements for intepreting a heliograph/signaling light.

EDIT: After some time I realized it probably refers to a radio reciever? Would still like confirmation though.

Large sections of the game are out-of-frame due to the fact you can't put the game in a larger window/fullscreen.

Mmh, just felt the need to confirm. Though on another note, shells don't really seem to display their payload? Alongside shotgun shells not showing properly in the visual.

While an interesting idea the game is full of debug text, unpolished features and simply does not work on most resolutions. Especially as it can't be windowed, also lacks any tutorial or description on how to actually play it.

Brief question. Do handguns require you to actually press the dust cover option? Considering most semi automatic handguns have parts that fullfill said function build in, of course not being called dust covers.

and on a sidenote, the designer for recievers and such don't really seem suited for making things that utilize shells? IE mortar launchers or artillery pieces.

Happy to see we've got chemical shells now! Though I noticed that shotgun shells don't really seem to be that fleshed out.

Referring to random number generation and simply the roll of the dice on what equipment the enemy is wielding and if they end up hitting. Since in some situations you simply cannot rely on overwatch and positioning to mitigate the enemy numbers advantage.

the realtime aspect, while interesting, is really a detriment to the game due to the unintuitive and complex controls alongside the fact your units don't act by themselves in any way. Also, a lot of stuff like action and item descriptions are in french and not translated.

Appreciate the quick response, while I try most of those already my issue when it comes to equipment and medical bills are more just being screwed over by RNG. Either way though, I feel like our supposed 'mercenaries' seem to be fighting more on ideological or personal basis then actual funding.

Often end up running into problems during my campaigns where I get stuck in a downward spiral and run out of funds due to my team needing gear repairs and healing while at the same time not having the money for it. I cant really get any either due to my soldiers being injured so I risk losing them, and they are also less effective.

Is there any way I can ensure I get some amount of money at a reliable level?

Sounds reasonable, could perhaps just allow you to choose between some pre-made existing diseases/chemical agents, or more abstract designed ones. IE deployment method, affected systems, density and stuff. Overall I just like my hostile landscapes and potentially backfiring weapons.

Will potential wildlife and envirommental hazards be a factor you plan to implement? IE, toxic foliage or atmospheric ash-clouds. also somewhat relevant, chemical and biological warfare?

Appreciated, will look into it. Though that should definetly be a feature of the cartridge designer, explaining that you lack enough propellant.

Noted, Information should be legible, couldn't directly post images due to file size constraint so utilizing Imgur album. Didn't shown errors during the creation process. IMAGES

Willing to share more information if neccesary.

I keep recieving N/A during my barrel and firearm tests despite the designs

i¨ve made being functional. Unsure if doing  something wrong here?

EDIT: After some experimentation, shortening the round a bit and making my propellant a tad more reliable I've made a decent handgun and carbine, that while only able to get through around 2 militeres of vehicle armour should function against enemy infantry while being cheap to produce. Thanks for the help Elfkan.

while i'm not entirely opposed to the idea I think this really isn't the direction the developer intends their project to go.
