Swiss Army Scout was an ARPG GameBoy game made for VimJam3, now with double the content! A ROM version is also available to those interested. You play as a kid at summer camp helping out a fellow peer with calculated random and vital unimportant tasks. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys checked it out for me, a lot of hard work went into this small project! https://curious-fox-games.itch.io/swiss-army-scout-11

Hey guys, I was wondering if there'd be any interest in me adding more content, fixing bugs and optimization, and adding more animations to my game Swiss Army Scout for an actual release of my game for $1 or $2? What are your thoughts?

I watched your stream and I appreciate your feedback! It's always interesting getting to watch somebody play your game

Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed!

Glad you liked it! The controls were just the default for the program, I'll start putting them in the description or have them explained in the game from now on

Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed!

I'm glad you enjoyed! And I've already rated your game

I'm glad you enjoyed so much about it!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! And there are two control schemes. WASD J K or ARROW KEYS Z X, you seemed to have mixed and matched them, I should have put controls on the page but I didn't think of it

Glad I could provide you with some nostalgia!

thank you very much! I’m glad you enjoyed! :)

Well I’m glad you enjoyed the aesthetic!

yeah I was making the page at 6am after pulling an all nighter and didn’t think of it. Use arrow keys and Z is interact and X is attack

Thank you for the feedback! :)

Thank you very much, to be honest, I thought I had 1 day less on the jam and ended up working till 7am so the final boss isn't the cleanest, but I appreciate the feedback and am glad you enjoyed!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, sorry you didn't enjoy the audio, I'll look to improve that in future titles

Thank you for the feedback. I will look to improve these in the future!

Thank you very much! I appreciate the praise. I'm happy you enjoyed the game :)

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

Somehow managed to lock the game, it said Eleanor was eaten but she was still alive and she couldn't be eaten. Overall great entry though!

Thank you for the feedback, I will take your advice for future projects. I'm glad you enjoyed the game :)

Thank you for the feedback, lots of people ended up struggling with the bee boss, I definitely should have toned him down. I'm glad you enjoyed it though!

I appreciate the feedback, the boss health ended up falling more into the game boy limitations for a number of frames of animation but I will definitely keep that in mind for future games. And if you were curious at all, the First boss has 8 health and the final has 20 in case you felt like revisiting the game. Thank you for playing!

I recommend having a stamina meter. There was no reason for me not to be sprinting at all times. Overall solid entry

Thank you for the feedback! Glad you figured it out!

or if you prefer WASD hit J. It acts like an A button

Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the feedback!

Hit Z

Hit Z

thanks man, appreciate it!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! And regarding the phone, it actually causes an alternative ending. When you get the phone, you get the little cutscene at the end of the game. If you don't however, it just ends.  Is there a way you think I could make something like that more clear to the player?

Thank you very much! Lots of work went into the palettes!
