It's a common issue with laptops that uses Intel processors. There's not much you can do apart from trying on another computer.

This ID is supposed to be tied to your PC so I'm not sure it's possible to change it. Creating a new user in Windows and running the game from there might solve it, but I haven't tested it.
The game is still in the early alpha phase so it's lacking admin features like kick/ban right now. I recommend only playing with people you know.
I'm watching the stream replay right now and I'm having a blast seeing all the shenanigans you guys are up to.
Btw, you can find the materials for the Stellar Drive in the rings around the starting planet. Be sure to set up the advanced controls with thrusters for easier handling of the ship once you get there.
Thank you guys for trying out the game <3 I hope you stream it again soon.
Thank you! I'll reply here for your other comments :)
I plan to expand on the existing systems, but I don't know what I'll add yet. I'd love to add power management and explore what could be done. A way to smooth out landings too could be nice. Either landing gears like you said or wheels could be interesting.
I'd love to know more about what you mean by better cable management. Is there something specific you found annoying/frustrating?
Sebastian Lague has good videos on Unity projects. You can check out his planet generation series at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN39W020LqU&list=PLFt_AvWsXl0cONs3T0By4puYy6GM22ko8. You get to create procedural planets, and the end result is pretty fun I think.
You can also go to the Catlike Coding blog for more advanced stuff: https://catlikecoding.com/unity/tutorials/.
Our Discord server has a channel for people looking to play together if you're interested. It's usually pretty quiet, but you might find people there to play with :) https://discord.gg/adA8nqqJ49
Thank you for your comments and suggestions! There's this one suggestion I'm wondering about though:
Should have a thing where the build tool just builds normal buildings until you add a steering controls so people can just make lil bases.(maybe when it’s a base and not a ship the build pieces snap level so they aren’t leaning on hills and stuff)
I'm not sure what you mean by that. Like a way to build a base that is snapped to the terrain? (maybe an example from another game could help me get it)
Again, thanks for your comment and I'm glad you had fun :)
Hello! I'm glad you enjoyed the game with your friends. Here are some answers to your questions:
- I don't know about automation, but an electric grid is something I'd like to try out.
- I plan to make exploration more interesting. That may include structures to check out.
- Painting is a pretty cool idea. I might check it in the future, but I'm not prioritizing it right now.
- I aim for the game to be a sandbox/exploration type game (think Minecraft or Astroneer) there will probably be a goal, but the bulk of the game is mostly building and exploring.
- There's currently a single solar system, but I'd like to add interstellar travel to check out other stars and planets.
Thank you for your other suggestions! I've taken note of them :)
