I Really liked hows the different attacks forced you to think differently about how to approach enemies, and I thought the art style was thematically on point. lots of small touches (like the shadows) really brought the game to life.
To improve the game I think a longer time between the attacks changing would allow me to know whats happening easier, and some UI of attack type closer or on the player would allow me to not share focus between the character and the corner of the screen.
Great job!
heyas,
I'm looking to join a project with a team committed in finishing a project.
What can I bring to the table. Project management skills and programming experience in c# (but I have no trouble picking up other languages). As well as basic vector, 3d and pixel art skills.
I want to build my portfolio of games from quick and dirty projects (what I have now) to something I can point to and go, I and some friends i made along the way, we made that.
I would prefer to join a project with a smaller scope.
Looking for a 2D artist on creating a hobbyist rogue like project... I have already gotten a start on the basic game play and some music has been made for the game... an concept artist has been involved and made basic character concepts....
I need an artist for creating isometric or 2D sprites for characters and environments and the like. The game will be made in an iterative approach meaning the game every now and again a working version of the game will be released instead of trying to make a huge scope game from scratch. Small iterative changes until the designed game comes to life
The setting will be an pre modern but with the presence of magic...
The game play has been roughly designed.
Money wise the game is a hobbyist project but if we are proud of the game we can sell the game... in which case rev share will be shared between each team member.
message me if interested.
