Wow, that was so long ago, and look how much this game has grown! This is just amazing, and the fact that you let this game be open source is awesome too!

That, makes sense actually, however the problem there would be adding incentive for doing that, after all why would you want to make the enemies harder when it's hilarious to destroy them all for one hit? Of course not everyone is like that but still.

I actually do like how the game works now, but removing the cap on the upgrades would be nice, but of course that would get a little op so i would personaly add enemy scaling based on your stats, with enemies getting stronger based on what you upgrade. (enemies do more damage the more health you got, enemies having more health the more damage you deal, ect ect.)

it would also be cool if bosses after defeating them for the first time also get difficulty scaling to make sure they arent a joke the second/third time through.

NO YOU FOOL!

I ABSOLUTElY LOVE THIS! The only things I would personally recommend is adding separate signs for keyboard controls, and a way to communicate to the player that you can get a bigger horizontal walljump by holding the button down instead of just tapping. While the kinda slippery controls do match the character, it doesn't really blend well with the tight levels as there are plenty of times where poor little Runmo just slid into spikes, which is kinda annoying. As far as that I do really like this so far and I can't wait to see what's next!

the help menu keeps popping up whenever i press H even while i am typing in code. is there a way to disable that or am i going to have to deal with it for now?

This is pretty good but the wall jumping is kinda clunky as you have to wait a sec before you can walljump off a wall, which makes it kinda hard to time each jump for me, and for some odd reason the editor doesn't detect trackpad scrolling for some reason. Also i would love a way to add your own textures, as it would add a lot more creativity, along with a way to add checkpoints so that you don't get sent AAAALLL the way to the start.

overall, its a good 6-7/10 from me

This is a little great game! It would be neat to have more levels added to the game that expanded more on this concept, or at the very least, some sort of level editor mode that allows you to create your own puzzles, though the last one might be tricky.

It might be the old v0.3 ones.

I love what you did here but sadly for me it lags a LOT. I have a older computer which definitely doesn't help but it would still be nice if you could find a way to fix it. Thank you and have a great day!
