Soooo cool! Will there be a full version?

I really enjoyed this game! The visual style, dialogue options, and narration are well done. Work to be done to improve the game, in my opinion, tutorial, UI & sounds :)

Overall concept is clear and well made. A good game for all fans of the genre

I appreciate the detailed feedback you provided on Dead Zone. Your insights are incredibly valuable to me as a developer, and I'm grateful for your observations. Here's my response:

  •  The large file size is indeed a result of utilizing the Unreal Engine, which grants powerful capabilities but does lead to bigger file sizes.
  •  I'm pleased to hear that the clock noise effectively sets the tone for the game's atmosphere. Crafting the right ambiance is essential for the overall experience.
  • Your feedback regarding the fonts and their consistency is duly noted. I'll be working on ensuring a cohesive visual style across all aspects of the game, including fonts.
  •  I'm glad to know you appreciated the minimap feature. It's designed to enhance players' awareness and improve overall gameplay.
  •  Your suggestion about implementing a pop-up tutorial for actions like reloading is excellent. Clear guidance is crucial, and I'll make sure to incorporate this feature.
  • Blood splatters indeed play a vital role in providing feedback. I'll be focusing on balancing the zombies' aggression level to create a more challenging and engaging experience.
  • I had the (bad) idea of using bubbles as an indicator for the location of downed zombies to enhance the gaming experience. I will definitely find a better asset to replace them!
  • Addressing the problem of distant shots not registering as hits is a top priority. Improving combat mechanics is crucial for player satisfaction.
  • Your comment about the shininess of pumpkin assets is well taken. I'll be adjusting their textures to achieve a more realistic look and feel.
  •  The addition of fog and other atmospheric details is on my agenda. These enhancements will contribute to a more immersive gaming experience.
  • Your feedback about the lack of visual and auditory cues for game-ending events is duly noted. Enhancing player awareness and tension is essential, and I'll work on incorporating clear indicators.
  •  I'm actively investigating the glitches and disappearing zombies to ensure a smoother gameplay experience. Players' immersion is a top priority.
  • I'll be addressing the issue with untextured rocks promptly. Visual consistency is key for a polished gaming environment.
  • Your input regarding the map size and zombie placement is crucial. Balancing gameplay elements is essential for an enjoyable experience, and your suggestions will be taken into account.
  • The confusion caused by the orange rock outside the building is noted. I'll provide more context or consider removing it to avoid any misunderstandings.

Once again, I'm grateful for your feedback on the game's controls and ambiance. Your insights are invaluable, thanks to these comments I can improve the game  🎮

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me!

I understand your points about the gameplay mechanics and the need for additional features like an options menu for mouse sensitivity. Your feedback is invaluable, and I'll definitely take it into consideration as I continue to refine the game. 💪🧟‍♂️

What a shame! Never say never :-) Maybe next year.

However, I will continue to follow your work!

Wow it is impressive the work done in such a short time!

You can also climb trees and swim o_O

Right shame about the initial cinematics, you could see the inside of the main character's face.

Overall great game, very nice atmosphere, I'm waiting for a final version if there will be one! :)

Hi Guibel,

Thank you for the comment!

You are right, I was thinking about it because of the sound issue. Thank you very much for the advice :-)

Please note that as the prologue is still in development, there might be a few bugs and glitches along the way. But fear not! Your feedback and support during this jam will be crucial in refining the game and ensuring a polished final release.

Thanks for your help! :-)

Hello Witching Metal,

Thank you so much for your feedback, for taking the time to express your thoughts, and for testing the game!

Unfortunately I have had little time for details and there is still so much to do.

PRECIOUS Observations.

Thanks again!

Have a good day!

HI! Thank you for testing Mistic Dungeon!!

As for the chest I will try to improve the system. Thanks for the comment :)

Top for crafting! And pixel art always makes you dream :)

Excellent result for a 6 hour job!!!

Haha, the goal was to do something really simple!

Unfortunately I was too busy during the week, at least I managed to get something out.

Next time you will show me your simple game : -p I can help you if you want haha (I'm joking too)

Thanks for looking at the controls ..! It will allow me to improve the game.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to develop two different versions, without advertising, I apologize for the problem.

You can turn it off by putting your phone in airplane mode.

A thousand thanks !

Thanks for looking at the controls ..! It will allow me to improve the game.

Uhm, the fact that objects pop up like this, out of nowhere. Create chaos. I had imagined it like this. Maybe it's not very obvious :-(

Thank you so much <3

A thousand thanks!

Ahaha GREAT question. But at least it creates some chaos :-p

It 's the first thing that came to mind unfortunately, it does not make much sense!

A thousand thanks !

Sorry about the publicity. I didn't want to do two different versions and in the end I was wrong.
